I had steped away from the computer for the break of 6290 but did get the break below the 50 level at 6246 for 95 pips.

Me too Sailor - +21 on that break, although I think it was a brave move after a drop of that size.Now I shall retire from trading for the night and enjoy dinner and 1 or maybe 2 glasses of fine red wine.

Morning all,

Like yesterday same configuration, we can see a break of the support line area 62750 before LO, trade : in 62600, out (half of my position) 62250

Nice trade Sailor. I didn't start trading until well after that move had started.

However price then went through my DP, pulled back (just like Acumen said it should!) and I entered short and exited at the 00 psych level.

Thks, (yes Acumen did well) also i used Fibo combine with candlestick when i miss a trade down like this one, for example i put a sell stop at 61970, but the price go back to 62095, than i used fibo to make a second trade in again sell at 62050 than my second trade make me some pips....i do it only when the trend is down (also i'm looking on M30 or H1 for the tendancy).

Now i'm waiting to see what happen on 6200 - 61900

I didn't hold my position : M5 Hammer with confirmation and strong volume, than i clear my position and after this candle, buy at 61760 out 6200 now let we see if 6200 can be a good resistance or not...

Nice to see sailor and orientos busy this morning! I don't think we'll see much of Islander this week, seeing as he's busy with the maintainence of his yacht.
I've just completed this nice simple trade on eur/jpy, which was initiated by a higher low right in the 20/25 psych-zone. An unfilled gap followed which I'd waited to be filled before I entered. However, it didn't fill, and I entered as indicated. A two small-candle consolidation followed, before price burst through the xx.50 psych-line, carrying on up through the 75/80 psych-zone, where I finally exited the trade. Price is hesitating there, which is also a 61.8% fib retracement zone, so I guess I did the right thing.

The only pairs I watch are GBP/USD, EUR/JPY and EUR/USD. I've tried watching lots of pairs in the past, but believe me, things tend to get VERY complicated, and I HATE complicated!! So to keep things simple, I just concentrate on the above three pairs.

Hi EV I liked that one as well, also had lots of rsi and macd histo divergence. Didn't take though as it was close to UK news. Nce one.

Yes, it was a nice trade, but I have to be honest and say that I never checked the calendar for news!! Sometimes, it goes clear out of my head. I'm going to have to put a big notice up in front of me saying something like:

"BEFORE YOU TRADE, CHECK THE BLOODY NEWS!!!!!"

....or something similar.
