Even now, had you opened the basket at that time, it would still be worth over 1000 pips.

DislikedIf you lauched the script as an EA it would have opened multiple positions. Check that you have the script in the scripts folder and ensure that you only launch it once.Ignored
DislikedEnewbold,
You are getting confused regarding the Indicator, which has a SELL set 1 (of 7 pairs) and a BUY set 2 (of 7 pairs). You use that as an indicator from which you make your decision to go either 14 Pairs LONG (BUY) or 14 Pairs SHORT (SELL)...

DislikedHaving missed the train early this morning, I am now playing the waiting game to board.
This is the only issue that I have with this method. Lets say that I have all the trades in the IA in the correct order (sells in profit at the top, buys in deficit at the bottom, the basket is short) and the pairs start to trend for a long time.
If the pairs begin to turn in the opposite direction (basket turns long), it could be some time before the pairs move from their positions in the IA, as all pairs could be turning at the same time and therefore keep...Ignored
DislikedThis is what I am thinkig of. If theoreticaly we gat tu a run to high/low you will not see buys and sells change places. it will work only as they aproach thet buy/sell level. Of course it is not perfectly simetrical but buy adding to IA every week we coud get bete picture of trend turning.
I guse IA would be more reactive to trand change! It souds logical to me (and mathematicaly correct as well)

Some questions still? Cant help my self?
It seems it is a lot up to a trader to decide?
Individuals pairs: when a sell or buy crosses the 7/8 spot, take that pair and opposite the one it displaced. So we can trade individual pairs - once that swich positions they are corelated?
The EA, I understand, though I'm not using it, has a $560.00 stop loss on the total How do you close all your positions at once then?Ignored
QuoteDislikedThe EA, I understand, though I'm not using it, has a $560.00 stop loss on the total of the basket
QuoteDislikedI'm thinking that Orest indicator in real time is detrimental. One's tendency to jump for the short term indicator.
QuoteDislikedI think after 48 hours or so, the IA loses its edge.
QuoteDislikedSo, I'm short & I'll let it run for the day. I think the week, at least till Wed. is headed that way.

Here is what I did:
1.I opened a new demo account in MT4.
2.From the first post in this thread, I selected the second sets of pairs which Trader101 called “the Universal pairings”. I sold all the pairs in the red set and bought all the pairs in the blue set.
3.I sorted all the posions descendingly profit-wise.
4.Now, I’ve got the situation shown in the image below.
What would I do next? Do I have to wait for a couple of days? And how do read this indicator and start trading?Ignored
