Here's what I'm looking at on the daily. The top red X to the lower red X is 750 pips. If we close today below the tl, then theoretically we could fall to 1.5650.

Here's my monthly view on cable. The prior month's candle close was an indecisive candle. Neither side wanted to take control of the market. We can see this in the long upper and lower wicks of the June candle. July has started off with dollar strength and appears to be ready for a test of 624x area which could even take us to the price of 617x (This is pulled from the open price of the June candle) Buyers will be here, as to their strength we will see, let pa on our lower TF show us. Buyers might push price to this months opening price of 6475 and then we continue on a bearish path. Again, we will look at lower TF to show us.

Not sure there is one, at least not for retail customers. I've seen platforms that at least connect to the datafeed over the weekend, but then they have different prices available compared to what you see on xe.com, so you're always weary of entering a trade, even if you could.

I've not been as active of late as I've been learning about volume, to help better time entries and for an added layer of confluence. Unfortunately, my preferred platform for volume doesn't give weekend data, so I can't look at the monthly/weekly/daily to give an opinion on what I think will happen based on volume.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

I read somewhere, that with Forex, volume is mostly irrelevant. I guess you disagree with that?

Sort of. Volume is only useful if your source is reliable, and with forex not being centralized, a useful source must be one that aggregates from a number of sources.

But even then, I'm not just looking at volume on its own, I'm utilizing it in a technique called volume spread analysis. I've been getting most of my info from this thread http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=157629 and from the irc chat (linked to from the first post in the vsa thread).

So far so good, and with it being analysis of price spread in relation to volume, it's something you can use for an extra level of confluence with the style of trading in this thread.
