Thanks basber, yes, I guess one should just develop your own rules which are simple, maybe three checks max. I think such checks helps one to stay emotionally detached and follow your system no matter what...

From near as I can tell, the original indy of this was called "#SpudFibo", however, all those that I can find on the internet have missing lines of code preventing some of the fibo lines from being displayed. And that includes the one currently on Sonic's site. That is where I first came across this indy many moons ago. It is still listed there, and it still has missing lines of code and a coding error that prevents one of the lines coded from being displayed....these problems are consistent in every version I have found on the internet. I have attached two indys to clear up these problems.

#SpudFibo_v1 is from the original version. Coding has been restored and corrected so that all originally intended fibo levels are displayed. Additional coding enhancement allows each of the three fibo groups to be turned ON/OFF independently of the others. And the indy itself has an ON/OFF switch, so that it can remain in your chart's list of indicators, but activated only when you want it.

#SpudFibo_v2 makes two further refinements which make for a cleaner look on the chart. One: the diagonal line across the central fibo is changed to a left boundary vertical line; the same as with the upper and lower fibos. Two: The bottom level of the upper fibo was the same as the top level of the main fibo. The result was the line was the color of the top fibo and the text was the color of the main fibo. Now each fibo group color is confined from the others. This required shifting the upper fibo so that its bottom level was not the same as the top level of the main fibo, and this in turn required assigning new values to all the upper fibo levels, values that would put the shifted lines where they should be. Do not be surprised if occasionally there is a level 1 pip different from that shown in v1....with computer "rounding" of numbers it cannot be helped because with just a fraction over half a pip you end up 1 pip lower or higher. Comparing v1 and v2, so far I have not found more than two levels out of all 43 levels that show a 1 pip difference. But, it is for the reason of this difference that I took the time to fix v1, just in case you prefer it.

Edit: Added v3. This version restores all levels to both the upper and lower fibos. Display of lines is better coded to eliminate overlap causing the two colors of adjacent fibos to display on the same level/text label. An indicator ON/OFF "switch" is added so that the indicator can remain on the chart's indicators list, yet be turned on only when desired. Each fibo can be turned on/off independently of the others. The main fibo diagonal line can be switched to a fibo left border line as with the upper and lower fibos for a cleaner chart appearance.

The v3 version is recommended over v1 and v2, as it has all the features of v2 without having to shift the upper and lower fibo levels, i.e., v3 is based on v1 coding of the upper/lower fibo levels, but with "display decision" enhancements that keep each fibo group apart from the others, and assures all appropriate levels appear in the proper color, no matter what combination of fibos is selected to be displayed.

TAH, is the v2 fibo you posted here the same as the one in the link on post 3444?

Just want to know if anything is different and if I need to re download it as opposed to using the one in the the previous link.

Is this a bug in the V3 indicator as everything is crunched up and ineligible at the lower fibo?

Also, if I refresh the template all the lower red fibos change to a new position than they were before and the fibo levels are not the same.

I think you are going to get into trouble with those links to outside sites in your signature.

EU M15: IHMO it looks like a trade here. But a conservative entry would be let it pass the whole number and then retrace back to its area. It could eventually retrace back into the 34ma tradeband, for a good enty, if that does not take so long that the band has risen substantially higher than the whole number. I like right here.

Over the weekend, as I finished the SpudFibo indys, there was no chart updating. This session I discovered that as charts update, both v1 and v3 drop the lower fibo. This is now fixed. I have added the fix to all three versions, even though apparantly v2 didn't need it. It is too late to edit the post to which these fibos were attached, to update them. I am not changing revision numbers as I post them here with the fix. I would like to delete the old post, but cannot. So be it. I am only posting all three again because they are already out there. #SpudFibo_v3 is the only one you need....it is the best.
