GM all......NFP coming out a day early in a few, US banks closed Friday

The worst thingu can do with this release is to chase it, 5/6 of the last releases spiked massively in 1 direction and then faded hard in the opposite to give the days direction. take your time and consider the level hard if u take the trade. I will probably wait till the turn of the H1.

Have a look at the bloomberg video clip on one analysts take on NFP and this particular move.

I can see the papers on the 4th of July now........Unemployment reaches 10%.

The stock market bulls have been trying to say that it is "as expected" and should be ignored but i would suspect that is just wishful thinking!

Unemployment was 12.4% in my county 2 months ago. I can only guess what it is now.

Call me an ass, but I see a lot of cheap here. I would not be surprised by a big rally on the NY open as the Pension Funds try to waste our money.

Yep. What I love about watching the Dow futures tho is that Bloomberg etc yap on about all the negatives etc all day and when the markets open down, it spurs buying pretty quickly and surprises... cause crude is cheap etc etc,

and when they are optimistic, the contrarian short squad traders come in again and splash it all over their face. Its hilarious!
