Since the market is slow let me throw something here...it may help somebody..

There is a BUZZ around professional traders that somebody ( a bank for sure ) borrowed some money from the FED yesterday under the cover for a wooping 7% interest rate. What makes a institution do something like that?

Desperation !

The transaction was done "sort of " under the covers, but some smart traders detected it. Lets see if this august will be a replay of last year. That 666 on the S&P makes me nervous we may change the beast number this year for a lower on.

Also short at 1.4125, looks slow again, however we have a negatively correlated signal on USD/CHF which might aid us, AUD/USD also has a short signal.

We shall see how this one goes. Looks to be turning up now, so we might have a loss.

not a sure thing but your preaching to the choir... yeah we get those guys saying everthing is fine.. one even said he worked for wells fargo here.. we set his bs straight.. but he must have lost his job..we got a hs on s/p with r shoulder top completed.. i got a million other things like #2 copper ect.oil storage.. china not buying less coal and copper. these fools pumping up equitys will buy anything..they were still buying gm today.. gm finally released a report saying the stock was wortheless.... anyway im on the bubble wagon.. i have been for a while..

yep at quarter end like now..this crap is far from over.. wave 2 is commercial banks..mom and pop business....and the employees of them.. that s/p h/s could put us back at march on s/p.. maybe further.. we are much closer to the ground this time..e-z is in worse shape this time also.. this is so fragile..

I'm more concerned about credit cards.....that will hit the economy where it REALLY hurts...

acctually gator wave 2 is the second wave of ARM resets...it is starting now...than commercial real state ( toguether with credit cards) only than I think unemployment will pic and we can think about a recovery.

yep commercial refi arent being refi'd lots of commercial balloons out there.. so we got 4.3 yrs of this left..

no refi and they shut the door..

Amex already got kicked in the teeth while MasterCard and Visa were gloating about how well they are doing.

agreed...and this is in the best scenario. The FED decided for a longer and somehow less painfull crisis instead of a quick and very painfull one. Apart from what a lot of people think I believe Bernanke knows what he is doing. No question he is still going after the agenda of his bosses and their objective is making money but he is trying to screw us in a "less painfull" way so to speak. They learned their lesson in the last great depression that a desordely transfer of wealth is not the best way to go
