yes their buying.. in any business your input cost has to be considered. india's input cost will be less..less cost you under cut competition. i dont think either have a shortage of labor. check out the india stock market..dont count them out..

Not something I've really looked at or considered but will have a squizz around the place. Off the top of your head, who has the most money though?

Is anyone here trading EUR/GBP. It looks like it wants to bounce from 0.8600 resistance (and quite strong one).

I dont know what China is going to do, but here goes what I know:
China has been shopping around recently and acquiring resources all around the world (SAmerica, Africa, Australia). most recent deal is worth 100 bn dollar of 20 year oil supply from Russia. So I could imagine in last 7 years they have acquired resources for 500 - 1000 bn (dont know the real numbers but you get the idea).
weak dollar wont hurt China that much because yuan is pegged to dollar so Chinese exports become cheaper to the rest of the world
Chinese think long-term, they are not so much concerned about short-term gains/losses. they want to be major player in world affairs and one of important elements of that is a reserve currency status (recently China has done currency swaps with numerous countries and they are negotiating dollar-less trade with other countries and investing in IMF)

so the bottom line is that this crisis will hurt US and dollar much more than China.

My 50% fib line from 1.6000 is at 1.4180, and we are sitting right on it. There have not been very many daily closes above it. I know a lot of shorts have been taken at or near that number. I have a L/T short from 4190, and I took another at that price. No need to abondon hope for shorts just yet. I will surrender above 4250 or on 2 daily closes above the fib @ 4180. If we are going to do a summertime "range between the fibs" then this should be just about it for the upside.

You got it right yesterday. I saw your call about not going lower than 1.40 and 5th wave etc and even though I'm USD bearish, I thought I could get in lower at a better price. Shame on me.

I really don't see China alone raising to a superpower any time soon. they have too many fundamental problems to solve before it. In a certain way China looks like Russia by the time they called themselfs CCCP....a lot of noise but at the end of the day their fortress was built in sand. You can hear a lot of noise from countries like India, Brazil etc....but the botton line is that they still have a long way to go in terms of internal disfunctions to correct before the world agrees to follow them.

Yep, I'm just looking at my 4 hour and daily and it looks to me like they've still got room to run but with all the fireworks tomorrow - anything is possible. The low for today was minutely lower than the low for yesterday. Could today's candle be considered a bullish engulfing? I'm not too hot on candles (just basic knowledge).

Eur/CHF is just sitting there @ 1.52, playing chicken with the SNB. We will see if they step in on a move lower. If they do intervine, it will drive the E/U lower... or at least it did back on the 24th.

I'm not sure but i see signal on weekly us index as same signal on July/2008!
But the day/week/month didn't close yet
Month close and i still have this signal for us index will drop much in long time frame.

My view:
Depends on my analysis we are in wave 3 in 4H chart and Max top 1.4330 then wave 4 start and confirm that bearish butterfly and Max top also 1.4330.

In daily chart we are in w5 which is started from 1.3750 and i think it could go 1.48XX maybe higher

And in long term "Months"we could see 1.60

Below chart for us index and i told so since index 84 which was 1.32

the biggest thorn in the side of the u.s. is oil.. the same thorn china has while trying to develop..india does not have this thorn..it has alumia, copper, oil, coal. iron. nuclear, ng, education and labor...and one of the worlds largest refineries with room to expand.. dont count them out..china has a problem..
