You were the one suggesting that I found it to be a source of motivation and that I would let those numbers creep into my unsuspecting sub-conscious leading to my impaired performance. If you weren't aiming that comment specifically at me, then you should have generalised it to encompass all traders reading this thread.

Just been looking at the MACD for the range were in now and it loos like there could be a move to the downside as the MACD slope is falling away while the range continues at about the same price level! Can anyone comment on this? Thanks..

Thanks for the numbers ....priming Short at what point? 3978? or 4036?

I can't really write anymore than what I have said already except that it has taken a long time (YEARS!) to develop.

Gone short with a 100 pip stop & 100 pip pt. Position size adjusted to accomodate larger stop.

I think it's only a certain type of personality that feels the need to post their statements so you wouldn't get an accurate read of the percentage of successful traders. But, as I said before, all kudos to them. And I've heard/read many times that some of the most successful traders are very humble anyway. But you could always do one of those poll threads asking if any traders have actually made any money - or maybe there is one already. Don't know - haven't come across it.

*L* hey if i actually put a caculator on it we may be closer..i actually did it to the smaller ones last night.. i need to do it to the big ones.. but it is time consuming... mt4 is easier to use but numbers may be off a few pips.. the longer the time frame the more off.. you have to take into account my numbers come from pryer to nov. 2000.. the only current ones or the short term ones i post i call moving ones.. but yes we are close.. do you want mine for the rest of the decade?
