Here is a screen shot of the 'trix' Anne provided. The Trix settings as shown are 3,1,false and 1500.
As you will easily notice, it is yet one more indi to be added to the tool box. Also, it is a 'live' indi that matched up closely as that of an RSI set at 6 with a 55/45 OB/OS included. So, how does this help?
Simple. You can replace the FT indi with the trix if you want. Also, the RSI is pretty useful so I think a trade setup would look like this:
PA crosses MA and RSI rises or falls above/below OB/OS. This is the PRIMER!
Trix moves across the 'zero' line and thereby becomes your TRIGGER.
As Paul says, you only need a couple of indi's here. Elimination of the repainting issue with the FT by substituting the trix is a no brainer imho.
Some have asked for the trix indi I use. Sorry, it is on a TS platform and is not able to be provided. Regardless, we will see Sunday when the market opens if this MT4 trix has any merit. Will need some live PA to see how it actually performs as MT4 scrolling back is always a 20/20 visual.
Regards.
