If this kind of indicators works for you, it's ok, but for me they look like christmas tree and they give so much confusion to be focus on the trade. I've seen a conference in Paris with Belkhayate ... Well, I want to be nice but I think like Buffet when he said " never ask to a barber if you need a haircut" ...

Never sell @ lower upward channel unless breacked and vise versa .

Yes, excellent advice. I can understand if you are not at your computer to set your S/L or trailing stop but to watch a trade slip from profit into loss is a mystery to me.

Now let's ram all those stops that Goldman Sachs recommended at 1.3720

Average at 1.3777, wishing I'd of taken that previous small profit.

Definately a bad day ( the worsth in 2 weeks of demo trading ) to take my Range system out to play.

Went long on EJ 134.70.

BORED!!!!! Holding this no life sucker for HOURS!!

The tracks down. Nearing downward sloping support. No reason why the move cannot go below 1.3700. failure to retest 1.3900 today showed weakness in the market.

Hourly RSI below 20... Try a small long @ 1.3760 for a retrace to test the neckline.

"I find it really easy to hold a profitable trade into a loss hoping for more" thats the worst advice I have ever heard of. Dude if you are in a profitable trade and that turns into a loosing trade why in the world would you want to hold it in the hopes that it will come back. Ofcourse it will come back but at what price? Would you risk your margin for the price to come back? Would you go through all the stress and emotion of your profitable trade turn into a loss? Even if it did come back you would have lost other great opportunities that went by you because you are holding on to a loosing trade and you are about to get a margin call. Dude think before you post your opinions here

It was trying to turn up, but keeps running into selling pressure, it's getting better though.

Must only trade my system on Range Bound Trendless days ( Most thankfully ) LOL

EU -220 on the day, EJ -300, got to be some kinda end of USA day ( so next 2hours ), Short covering / Buy interest you'd of thought.


But we'll see

Short term target EU 1.3830, EJ 135.00 as in today 3hours ish tops.

I know this sounds far-fetched, but if that's a H&S forming on the Daily TF, we could get to 1.2885 in the coming days. Thoughts?

Daily, does look like a downtrend is forming, and historically IF it doesn't close off it's lows a fair bit it'll continue lower tomorrow.

Took several reversal longs today, some more risky than others, but paid off, got one loser. Hesitant to open any longs after weakness confirmed below 1.3800, as the writing was on the wall as it went below 1.3840. Recognising these were countertrades heps you stay focussed on exiting quickly if it doesn't work out. Now looking for signs that the move down is ready to retrace. I Think I just missed it, and risk is now too large for me to enter, but it will (EDIT: could) turn into a decent retrace.
Closed out my short much too early today. Only regret as it was a perfect breakout trade.
Hope you get your long back into profit or BE.
Someone posted Goldman Sachs 1.3720 SL, that may well not get hit. We will see.

I will be very surprised if it does. Then again, I'm surprised we broke below 1.3800 today.
