I don't think this news would have a high impact on EUR due to the fact that it affects the eurozone equities that are more connected to DJIA. I think -0.8% was expected and a normal figure considering the actual industrial production. I think -0.3% would have generated a sell in equities because it would mean management is stupid.

I see no signals to enter a trade at the moment so I'll set on my pips and wait to see if something comes along.....

would any of you agree that price level 1.383X is an important point to determine if price would go down more or reverse?

I have closed one short @1.3857.

I do not have any target number for this week.
I have more shorts open, and will act now according next move, I must see if we are going to drop more from 1.3850 area today or not.

Week Levels to share:
1.3805 long only well below this number
1.4170 short only well above this number

A Weekly close below or above this numbers will set the trend for next weeks

My estimate was -0.6% to -0.7%. This is not a leading indicator. Unemployment rate is. 9.2% EUR/ 9.4% USA.

getting close to base line for head and shoulders at 1.38, I think long is risky

Euro plunged close to 200 pips to take support of the 21 Daily EMA at 1.3935. Currently, Euro is kissing the same support level with the daily charts remaining neutral. Breaking of this support will lead Euro towards 1.3785 support (38.2% of the recent rise). Initiate longs at 1.38 for 100-150 pips. (Eur/Usd:1.3939). Bullish above 1.3750.

I'm waiting for a retrace around 1.3920 (resistance) - 1.3931(fibonacci) in the 1h time frame. I will short again in this area if i can see a signal. Until oil is up 70 it will be difficult for euro to break 1.38.
