Hi tony, could ne resist to have a quick look at my trades, most are pretty healthy but the eur/lfx long bet against hussin was a loser.

Of course it was. Never trade against hussin

But usd/lfx is on the edge, because if we realy put fibo extensions on the chart, this would break this monthly 61.8 fibo level, which might end in a deep fall for the dollar. Lets see, if we get a double bottom, or full big fall.

From weekly ichomoku point of view we have just entered the land of the bears....

I like to post it again: the pound is so pretty much bullish, I canīt believe this.

The GU has resistance ahead on the weekly but if I look at the usd/lfx and the gbp/lfx, I have no doubt that GU will go straight 1.69 and above.

Look how much room is above 3.02X resistance for gbp/lfx. If this level is taken I see 3.10X. This is pretty far away and pretty much money to win (or to lose).

Maybe I should concentrate to buy the pound on daily set-backs.

I thank my lucky stars to ever have found him and this thread

and am pleased that what he has shown us ,this week,

spotting trading opportunitys: gbp/nzd

but carefully, this has been in a ranging market long time.

On the other hand: a succesfull 4 h hammer is a 4 h succusfull hammer....

The $ did break the 1.8000 area,weekly currently engulfing ,could it be an outside?

I have a double bottom in mind, but next 8 hours will tell if further fall or retrace.

I have a clear buy usd/jpy, which scares me a bit, because this indicates USD bullishnes or extrem yen bearishness. I think the yen will be more bearish then the usd is bullish.

Also eur/lfx is near a point of exhausting his retrace, might start fall in the next 4-8 hours.

the lower wicks give the impression we will go higher .the one candle with the upper wick to the North dose not look bearish.

Tony, I agree. Especially the US Session will be most interisting on my charts
for usd/lfx. Up or down ?

If it does not turn down soon (4 h timeframe), we turn bullish.

The other possibility is a consolidation candle which makes sense after the large move Peter ,like the cable monthly history I was looking at ,so don't want to get caught in that,only still over a week to go...

Heres the thing with a 1500 pip monthly the momentum is strong.
So on all the data I have for cable I can not find one that simply tuns on a penny after such a candle (after the top/bottom is broke) ,in fact most don't make it past 61.8

Hi forex007, I was talking about the eur/lfx, which is a weighted basket of the eur against 6 or 8 other currencys. So compared with other currencys the eur is pretty weak. Sorry if I have said this wrong by saying "eur".

I will change my mind for eur/lfx, if current level 2.5380 will be broken.
Tony, drawing trendlines - like fibo levels - are high individual, maybe I got this wrong

Lets wait and see.

I baz, I have just added a (very) small long, will wait for turning current 4h candle bullish and usd/lfx bearish before adding more longs.

Current weekly candle is bullish, because we have this nice weekly resistance above, so there has to be a second try to break this resistance or turn bearish. Beginning next week will tell.
