mr jay... plzzzzzzzzzzzz help

i see weakly chart on gu and think it go down. then i think it go up. then i donno what it do. then i get pain in my head. i know you good guy and not like that other mean guy. you hep me plzzzz mr jay?

Might go down but I don't like how macd looks.

So if I did, I'd most definitely hold on to my f@#king hat!

Tony, a couple of questions.....

you said you scalp 5-20 pips.... lets say market gave you 5 pips , how do you know if you should stay in for another 15 pips or exit ? you make that decision based on what?

also, you are taking trades in the direction of the intraday trend...which TF are you using for intraday? the same 15 min or higher/lower TF?

and the last one, if I may .....you jump in at the break of H/L of the 15m candle or you give another 2/3 pips for conformation of direction ?

Hello guys...here is my analysis for this friday. Before I begin..I think its worth noting that Trichet speaking twice in the same day if the FF schedule is correct may create quite a bit of volatility (like we havent had enough of that lately..lol)

Technical Analysis
Ever since last friday when we saw that massive move down we have been slowly consolidating upwards in wild waves. These wild waves are now clearly seen through an upwards channel (red lines) and pa has been quite prone to bounce off those areas..especially the lower trendline. Within the consolidatory uptrend which is really just a range around 1.4000 with 200pips in each direction also has a few Support/Resistance levels that pa bounced off quite a bit even through the volatility. These common levels are represented by the white lines.

To conclude...this uptrend has a familiar pattern that we all are accustomed to (I hope)...higher highs and higher lows. Technical analysis 101 says this kind of trend eventually breaks down however the question as always is when...time will tell (unless the odd break up occurs..quite possible in these wild times of bond auctions). Until that time comes my trading will be concentrated around the upper and lower wall of this uptrend as well as how pa behaves around the horizontal support/resistance levels mentioned before.

Sidenote-note that the horizontal support/resistance levels do not go outside the uptrend range. The idea behind this is if we break the trend today (highly doubt it)...who knows how low or high we can go.

somethin' is cooking alright and I don't think it's northbound.

Totally agree altho i don't use macd. Both GY and GU are an enigma right now (to me anyway), and I'm suspecting that there's a driving force connected into EU but I can't prove it.

It reminds me of last fall when the Yen was moving everything, but there was an explanation for that. This is weird to me and I just keep thinking I'm missing something, and you know how much that bothers me. Not sure that all came out right.

It could just be as simple as an "irrational market" tho.

With this much irrational stuff going everywhere all at once, it messes with my head if I think about it too much.

Caught a nice top on geppy just now tho at 62.52... for however long that lasts.

Whoa buddy, I thought you were short from 2 days ago @ the 4020 ?

If so, then you'd be adding to a position that's been in the red most of those 2 days.

Although, to be honest, after seeing sub-140 in the past 24 hours and then
letting the trade run 200+ pips against you (now only about ~80)
why do you want to pour gasoline on the fire ?

I'm looking to sell this thing too, but only IF the intermediate trend turns down
and starts making a legitimate run for that 138 neckline. Then the sellers may come out of the woodwork.

Until then, the market continues to defy gravity and what's a guy to do ?

Since morning I see charts at times & confusing mostly. The bullish movements not changed so far , up & down & ultimatly to the destination up & min destination have not yet reached ( I mean 1.47 ) .I see if the price stays over 1.4108 ( it is almost there & looking down as most candles up except daily which also at times doji) then we may go at least the previous high and get get down a little to have more support for this action to about 1.4050 anytime soon .By this time writing it is going down .

I will take possible long at about 1.4050 if all ok .
& don't think H&S will effect any or considerably even it be true .

Good morning.
The market was heading to make a double top, but failed as downtrend contained price. Daily pivot at 1.4078 is holding. Volatility entering market, it could get scary.

I have been reading your posts for a couple of days now...you are a good trader as far as i see....i am currently short @4020...i wanted to know if i should open another short somewhere @ 4100 or take the loss and move off the trade?

bad, i entered new short @4095 making the avg @4054....but closed the 4095 position @4084 market now @4060

ok folks did my home work if you can short at 4193.. nike it.. 57 pip sl..were gonna go down unless there a pipeline bomb or war or something..if its war depends on whos involved...pipeline and we go up. 3054 is in the tea leaves..

You stand a good chance of turning the losing trade into a winner at this point in time. Whether you should open another short depends on your pain level.
