This system was meant to be a joke, wasn't it? Come on, saving the life of a big dog, "cristal ball" and "wonderful stop" indicator, that is a simple moving average, and will cost 3000 $, dont you suspect that the author intended it as a joke or experiment?

Below the chart how I using the line nd crossing in H1.

1- Make sure the line cross before enter the entry. Always enter YOUR POSITION next candle after crossing.
2- Make sure the AO and AC have a same color for buy or sell position.
3- Trend signal will show you the market trend. Arrow will appear and do not enter if no. 1 and no.2 not complete.

For exit kindly use Fibo, Gann Line and Gan Fan.

Free84 has a great sense of humour - and a dry wit. Some readers of the thread even thought he was charging for this, and that unless they paid up now, the free indies would expire and cut them out!

I have been following this thread all day today and have come to the conclusion that it is the best manual method I have ever seen.

Bar none.

Free84 wanted us to use our own brains and not be spoon-fed. If he continued to nurse this along, there was a real danger the brainstorming would stop.

It hasn't.

To a very large degree, FF members rose to the challenge and turned this into a very productive and one of the most important threads on 4H methods on the entire forum.

The next phase of this is to nail the exit.

In keeping with Free84's style of utter simplicity, I suggest the exits stick as closely to that ideal as possible.

Then ... the biggie of trading ... Money Management! Again I recommend that those with some experience in this could contribute volumes of neat strategy, while keeping the MM theme very simple too.

While I understand the principles of MM I would not be able to contribute towards this with any authority and certainly not with simplicity while being innovative.

I am sure Free84 is checking in de temps en temps, and is waiting to see how far the thread can go with his strategy, entry/exit and money management before he returns to round it off.

I sure hope so, but even if something has prevented this from happening, I am sure the brilliant work put in by so many of you folks, is enough to place this idea into the top 5 of 4H methods I have ever seen. In fact, this is the method I will use exclusively from this point forward.

Having only found the thread this morning - I am still awake 17 hours later - enthralled with what I found - it is past 1.00 am here in Australia (East Coast) and I won't sleep tonight because of this discovery! I am out of superlatives to praise this idea, and hope to contribute my own (demo) trades later this week.

For sure this White Pointer System (WPS) is no joke - but is sure is funny how we are trying to complicate something that works the same - give or take a few pips - with ot without the refinements.

Are the refinements really necessary or worth the clutter? I haven't tried all the attachments suggested yet - but I will - and will give feedback - fwiw.

my question is what is the difference between Supersignal indicator and AlaskanPipAssasin??

Im just using the original wonder line and crystal ball for entries atm, exits i dont really have down pact atm...

the thing is that i put on the super signal but it repaints quite often...

would anyone care to share for their exit strategy or indicator?

Yep that indie does repiant. Check out Paulus's new thread on using the iStoch indie to control entries with it.
As for those Crystal-Bars in this method...they are nothing more than Hiekin Ashi Candles. No big deal to reshape and rename them, I guess.
The entry rules can be applied to any method and you have same results.
No Holy Grail here. Maybe why this guy went Bye-Bye. Nothing new under the sun.

i change a little bit the indi now and is better i will see if i share hummm the goal of this tread is to have some new idea for exit but i dont see many some critic but not many idea???? I always watch the evolution of this tread and i hope he can be usuful for someone

The strategy actually does make good pips on 4H, but the ending (exit) is still unresolved.

Hey Ingot! Are you still doing the Rainbow method? I didnt take it up as I was into Spuds stochastics at the time, but Hey you had a big following with that method as I recall.

I still only trade the Longer TF of 4H and up - thus my interest in this thread.

But like many now I am moving to the Price Action methods and have found that once you have Price Action in your head, you don't need more than Support and Resistance and maybe a Fib level or two to confirm or demonstrate confluence of probable reversal points.

I will always be open to what is happening in Trading Markets, but for now have moved on a little from the Rainbow days. I keep it in my "repertoire" though.

Here is one of my favourite charts - not much needed to eyeball - just a lower TF for timing entry. I use my Rainbow charts plus Spudfyre's MTF Stochastics.

What a great man Spud is - one of my top trading thinkers of all time.

Getting off-topic now - but...

I get asked a lot for the way the Rainbow is constructed.

Below are the Parameters for constructing the Multiple MA's plus the colouring required for each one.

Your original indi are on my H4 chart for a long time.
I added a SMA 200 to see the longer term trend.
Also price like to bounce on SMA 200.

The last signal for GBP/JPY entry was at 132.45, S/L 134.07 on H4.
As for the exit, i use the same set up on H1.
Once the bar turns blue, i will consider to exit.

if your new indic is still free, i would like to try them.

The super signals.. very similar to the 3 level TRO, I actually use them together. I wanted to ask, people who use super signals v3d..
do you ever enter a trade when super signals is signaling
an end to the trend in the direction you are taking? lol

By that I mean an x or arrow or both come up against your position
you are just opening.. you are going long Eur/USD and a super signals x and arrow down come up on the bar you are entering the long trade... would you still enter knowing this indicator is an early warning..your trade still could go your way 100 pips before it means the real end, but when it comes up
on your entry candle... do you ever take that risk or just pass on that trade?

Looking for experience and input of others using this indi.. also on that,
does it make a difference if you are using it on a strategy like this, 4 hr or a short term time frame strategy whether the opposing super signal alarming
like that on your entry candle freaks you out and away from the trade?

Thanks for sharing your new WPS signal.

I've used your crystal ball signal in the past in conjunction with a couple other indicators.

The WPS Signal is a very good entry signal, however, that is but a small part of a trading system. Could you share with us how you are using the signal with such things as:
Stop loss placement
Taking Profit
Money Management

In the past you have encouraged input of others yet you have shared very little on the above variables which are crucial to the success of a system.

When I have some time, I will post some charts with some things that I believe will complement your signals.

You're a full time trader with several years of trading experience. I'm sure you have lots of good information that would be helpful to us aspiring traders.

I'm using candles instead of bars so the signal is the color of the WICK.

It's not my intention to complicate Free's system. I think his entry signal is good enough to trade color change of signals alone and be profitable with good MM. I will start with two basic strategies and then discuss stop losses and profit taking etc. I just downloaded this new indicator Friday, so I have not traded this exact system, but I have used these concepts with other entry signals with some success. As much as I would like to trade a simple, purely mechanical system, I find that using a little discretion and choosing the highest probablity trades works best for me.

I'm getting involved in this thread because I think Free's entry signal is very good and I would like him to share how he is trading it. He has encouraged the input of others. I've considered myself more of a learner (not lurker) than a contributor. Hopefully, this will be helpful to someone as well as myself.

Sorry for any confusion using the terms Gold and Silver. I'm not trading gold or silver. I use platinum, gold, silver and bronze to designate different strategies I use.

GOLD trade

We're looking for a dip in an uptrending market or a rally in a downtrending market that is significant enough to cause the color of the signal to change. We're waiting for the color to change back.

Gold Trade MUST have: Signal color change AND Slope Agreement of 20 SMA OR price must cross and close above/below 20 SMA.

Gold Trade has HIGHER PROBABILITY if it has: Hidden divergence (indicating continuation of trend) and price closing above/below 5 smooth price channel. Trading in agreement with the higher time frame always results in higher probability trades.

Note: I have a separate template with my favorite divergence indicators so I am not limited to stochastic when looking for divergence.
