I have both new channel down and your support trendline up on my chart. But don't think drawingboard at the moment is right tool to speculate a direction. Lines will lead us to believe whatever we want them to tell. I think this is time we should try to get sense of direction from fundamentals, and Gator, you are very good at this.

did you see where 62% took us last night? i say below 62 is a reversal..unless proven wrong. as rod stewart said tonights the night.. maybe..the other numbers i posted makes this rejection stronger..it takes a lot of bricks to build a wall. and one news storm to tear it down..

see the grid.. everthing said takes the 50% move from summers high until fall low into account. i may be 100% wrong...but as long as we dont get a week or month close above how can i be bullish here. sure we had a few days close above.. but since week of sept 21 we have closed below this line.. i call that a trend..

Channel and support? Chicky three points is my min (per Doblece) on trend lines and channels. So far the only channel is sideways . It's always ranging until it proves it's not.

one of my constuction jobs was a pip layer...real tittle..at one point i was the head pipe layer cause i didnt mind the deeper holes..

I too believe we are in a range. Anpther way of looking at this: Sideways is before a change. If we are sideways, as we indeed are, what would be the change? If change is reversal of this uptrend, there will be a down channel. What this down channel will be? Maybe if we connect today's high 1.4145 (rounded off) with 1.4335 (rounded off) of June 2 and 3, we will get top resistance line. A line parallel to this connecting with June 8th's low will be the bottom of this channel. If PA touches this bottom line we will have a lower low in addition to a lower high which is 1.4145 (today's high). I am sorry, I am unable to post a chart.

If your going to play the smaller time frames, use the same method. Don't care where its going, look for consolidation---- wait for a break, then a pullback and get with the trend.

Trends come in all time frames, but keep your eye on the larger ones. Just a thought
