Along those lines... altho I posted this elsewhere yesterday, it may be appropriate to repost it here... the meeting being referred to in the article alytho dated May 29 is set for upcoming June 16... excerpt folows.

You could be right. I am in IT work as a PM, and I have worked for several IB's, and I have few friends on the trading floor. There was a rumour that GS is buying most of the equities and pushing the prices up?
Needles to say new goverment is required to show their strength one way or another.

Derivatives and currency futures have always been good friends & go on the ride together So I could sense the currency going up along with equities and it will go up as the momentum is already set by GS.

The only problem for US at present is selling US equities and for that they need to raise IR. When IR rise, $ will be considered strong enough by the investors to buy/hedge only then FED could say they can manipulate the market so we are looking at another few years. Until then we can enjoy the prosper world of the new US gov.

Don't forget Obama announced new jobs to be created in summer and he is pushing hard to get offshore jobs back to the US and also looking at taxing companies taking advantage of offshore haven! It's not only words with this guy, he is an action man waiting

US is too clever to let other countries take advantage of global currency without their consent. They will not be the "superpower" anymore if that happens.

Technicals are only based on fundamentals.


I personally don't see next crisis happening before 4-7 yrs, what's your take?

Looking at your chart, just want to confirm that your long is at the vertical red line or after the price retrace and the 2nd blue dot was given by SHI?

BTW, I noticed that the template provided by Popee83 doesn't include the SHI_SilverTrendSig indicator. Did you add it yourself?

I actually got in a little late, but was still able to get the pips, yes i did come in at the red line.

The zip file posted I got from POP. if its missing the s-indi I will go look for it and post it.

m-fibo, is one of the indi. you will find in the package. Allow me to explain a little here .. from the chart i have attached ... m-fibo are the line that are making corners whenever a new trading day starts giving us the trading range for the day and bias direction. This is how i made todays picks ...

1) m-fibo's pivot(yellow line) intersected with x_fibo golden region at ~.618. This gave me the first signal to go long gbp/usd. COG m15 TF was also biased for an up trend and the upper green line of COG broke the two targets...

2) As for the Euro/Usd, m-fibo intersected with X_fibo at ~.50. This means that the trade could go either way since fib .50 signifies indecision. However, COG gave me the direction bias and I picked the trades.

It is important to note that m-fibo serves to give us the days trading range both to the upside and the down side The yellow line is equilibrium/pivot. For instance: EUR/USD had the following trade ranges:-

To the upside 1.3978(0.382), 1.4024(0.618) and 1.4099(1.00) for the dare devils....

To the down side: 1.3827(0.382), 1.3781(0.618) and 1.3708(1.00)

Hey guys, todays targets have been achieved....... sorry to the doubting thomas's. ...

Av read THV thread and tracom nice work for defending us .. All that matters is who will have a green statement at the end of the day ... with minimal reds.

Lets celebrate starting a thread with successful targets ... and guys pls don't over trade -- don't give in to greed.

Tracom, later project tomorrows trading range and bias ... we will scalp the trend using cobras THV3 and see how it goes ..


Hope by now . . you guyz can start giving me the benefit of doubt ... All I wanted was for new traders to stick around the fx b/ness for long and enjoy the pie ...

Could you also clarify how to use COG to confirm the direction of the trade?

The COG will work best m15 TF and Daily chart .... If you are scalping, u can use m5 TF but enter late .... blue/yellow hollow arrows from sidus indi... and keep within the constraints of the COG green lines. Once a fib level is hit .. exit ... or better still, set TP at 1/2 value of ATR..

T/P 1/2 value of ATR. Do you mean TP at half of the ATR (so if the ATR is 20, TP at 10 pips profit). Or do you mean close half your position at the ATR.
