A few days ago I got a newsletter from Chris Lori. He's a forex fund manager. In that newsletter he said that banks and funds were going to be unloading their GBP and EU longs. He was spot on.

On Thursday I got another newsletter that said when the U.S. data was released on Friday to expect a huge spike up (false break out) followed by a fire sale to the bearish side. Again, spot on.

I just got another newsletter advertising a webinar on Tuesday evening from 9-10 p.m. EDT. It's advertised as free. It's supposed to be about the psychology of trading. Plus he's supposed to share his thoughts on the current market situation.

I'm not here to advertise this guys products, just to let you know of the free webinar if you're interested.

EO, I hope I'm not out of line with this webinar. If I am, you have only to say so and I'll remove this post and make my apologies. I just thought discussing the psychology of trading might help a few in here.

I imagine EO knows your intentions are in the right place Cisco and won't have a problem with your post but, for what it's worth, you get my thanks and appreciation for sharing this information

Psychology is not exactly my strong point so I'll be tuning in Tuesday.

Just an additional note Cisco. I couldn't get the automatic link you provided to work. I noticed that, although the link as you've written in your post is correct, the URL it clicks through to has a letter missing for some reason (comes up as "gotmeeting" instead of "gotomeeting") so didn't work.

No idea why but I just added the missing letter "o" and got to the registration page no problem.

Sorry about the bad link. I'm a computer illiterate.

I tried to delete the link and do it again but it still won't work. I guess if you're interested in registering then just type in the link in a new tab and see if you can get it to work that way.

Morning, fellows

Based on these assumptions:
- trends are down
- Euro markets are down
- pin on 15 min
- 61.8% retracement on 15M
- 35/50 cross/reverse
(see chart)

I took short on GU from 5895, SL at 5945, 25 pips above pins wick.

Could anybody tell me what I've done wrong, and why it did not work?

i think its just unlucky...
I am also short based on the same asumptions you made, i just have a larger s/l in place.

Good morning......hope everyone had a great weekend.

I took that same trade and got stopped out. When I look back I see the 1HR being bullish, plus when I looked at price levels, I figured buyers wanted to test old support @ 5940 area.

So I did go back short at 5931, took profit and covered.
