EUR-USD held 1.4100 area and got a push higher. The volume in overnight trading is low. Should pick up when European/London markets open.

Attached is a 4 HOUR chart of EUR-USD. The next resistance level is at 1.4246 and then Tuesday's High 1.4338.

IF 1.4100 area is broken to the down side, sellers will enter the market moving it to 1.4050 area and lower.
1.41 is very key right now.
I see your using MACD with Phillip Nel strategy, his technique is very profitable if you able to spot the patterns whithin it.
Just wanna share tip for scalpers like myself. They are some movement opportunities every 5 min ,15 min ,30 min ,1 hour by using the MACD indi. I made my scalp 10 pips for non news movements and max 50 pip for important news movement. Just sharing my style.

I don't pursue the role of a teacher, even more when I assume that i'm a learner throughout my life, but I can tell you my approach right now, this isn't permanent method, I use several methods depending on volatility, news days, vacation days... so right now what i'm doing in EURUSD is...

.1 - Not trading asian sessions..
.2 - Catching an entry around 7-9am GMT

How I define odds? If i believe trend is up, i'll look for a significant retrace from a previous move (support level) that coincides with other historic support/resistance levels, psych levels, EW count, murray math. The more the levels match, most probable it is, and odds are best around there... then i'll wait and see how price behaves around those levels (pinbars, engulfing bars.. etc) to determine the entry... I do this intraday.

I also use what is described at James thread, always looking for pinbars on dailys at previously known resistance/support levels...

EDIT: With a very strict Money Management, always 2-3% independent of Stop loss distance, so lot size is variable.

And a few more... but it's 3:40 am here, and it is a lot more to write, maybe another day on a more appropriate place instead of this thread...

No problem chicky, i'm sorry if sometimes I sound harsh, but that's not my intent nor nature. I do like to take some time to learn the most that I can, so i'm usually more into learning and absorving information...

It's very difficult to me to share because my "system" is highly selective, it isn't has a usuall system should be... (like very well explained in this historic post from Merlin: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=4446 ) Basicly what i do is identify the fundamental position were in, and use the system I find appropriate for that situation...

Maybe when i feel what I know maybe usefull to someone else, i'll evolve... but no yet!

And above all, i'm a happy person, I react very positively to almost everything, so i take this "trading stuff" with a smile and I don't give it the importance of a life and death situation

So if any of you think i'm being harsh, i'm sorry, not my intent! I rarely use the sarcastic smiley!

Up trend but that might change within 24 hours.
You have just taken too much risk, no s/l or so?
Maybe if you get a real margin call that will be a great lesson.

Some people really do need margin calls before they learn.

No man, I felt your response no way sarcastic. You are one of the few people on this forum I have great respect for. Today you showed me something which I never knew before and very very important for my system, that is 1) how to check odds, 2) looking also into the future. I am really grateful for that. I currently have a long open, with s/l at be, but I'll close it maybe soon.
Actually we might go down quite a bit more.
