I'm with you on this one P - I also try to pick tops and bottoms - and I like to think I'm quite good at it. But its bloody hard and you tend to get bitten in the ass too often.

Going with the flow is much easier.

Looks like some Bullish Divergence on the 1 Hr, however, may not go far before retrace as 4Hr BB Macd has risen nicely. No surprise with the move up. Gonna wait for a 4 Hr arrow before pulling trigger. Looking for a pullback 50 to 100 pips before going long again. Does that seem like a good assessment anybody.

My possible plans for the week and near future...

1. Short this 50% fib, in expectation of a big bounce and continuation of original downtrend from 1.60. I am not convinced that we will continue the downtrend from 1.60, but as we are perfectly still aligned w/ the fibs, I have no reason to assume otherwise.

2. Secondary plan, wait for strong retracement and go long in continuation w/ current uptrend, while keeping mindfull of #1.

I'm sure headfakes will be abundant in this key area so best to keep your mind open and not overcommit to anything.

I may even stay out all together until this 50% fib plays out... not sure yet...

I thought poor social skills were mandatory for fx traders? That was what drew me to this business in the first place.

Iīm taking the last one...wait, drink some beers and watch the 50 Fib....today is "watching day" for me and monday Iīll pull the trigger..

I'm just looking at that last push up on friday and thinking... gap up... build shorts... then 50% fib rejection for a nice bear run... so tempting... might have to give it a try. The only question is where to set the damn SL (isn't that always the dilemna?)

Always the same....how many times I set a tight one and it got reached just before the market went xxpips in my direction? and how many times i set a big one that got reached too bringing no more than losses?....Many, many times....

I will be watching the equities futures (mainly S&P500) tonight to see how they react to news GM is finally filing for bankruptcy protection.

I think too many fundamentals factors and news events (N.Korea etc) are lining up against stocks going higher so I expect USD strengthens and others weaken. We'll see.

We have a Bearish Bat formed on the M15....May seem a little up movement and then some sort of retrace......I donīt believe it will be a big one, just a breathe to continue the Upwards move...maybe touching 1.4100 and going back to the 50 Fib.

A Bearish Bat is basically a "W" pattern. With the necessary fib ratios. I don't see one on M15.
