1.3600 1st target 0.382 fibo
1.3450 2nd target 0.500 fibo
1.3325 3rd target 0.618 fibo in this last target well see how it developes.

I'm short to 3860. I've been following volume and it's been negative for more than 2 hours now.

I've been reading "Trading for a Living" and he makes a great point that volume will reflect the trend. i.e. low volume on an up candle is an indication that it won't last and vice-versa. I made an MT4 indicator to show the average volume direction which I'm more than happy to share.

You can see the candle earlier which moved up significantly, but had lower volume than the narrow down candle before it and it was followed by a sell-off. The average volume was clearly on the down candles by that point.

+36 pips for today.

Same scenario as 1995-2001
Nasdaq outperforms Dow and S&P Dollar goes up. We need technological driven growth, oil fundamentals are getting weaker every day, btw middle east is bankrupt living of borrowed money against oil that hasn't been produced.

Been following this thread for a while and thought it was time to add a chart.

H4 trend is clearly up and price tends to break up after consolidation - I think target is 44 ish after next breakout but I'm probably wrong.

I'm taking my profit and running. Volume has dropped off significantly as it has moved down. I think this little run may be over for now.

Get a live or demo account at a futures broker and you can see true real-time volume data on major currencies, stock indices, commodities, etc. Very informative. Volume reported by forex brokers is not true volume.

well nice chart but i think that if.. IF in fact breaks out higher will probably only and only to make a head about 70 pips over the high at 1.4050 but that is exactly what the market makers do make u doubt and get into the trends after is gone thats why building shorts at this point sounds to ME as the more logical think to do of course i could also be wrong .

I'm inclined to agree with you and have jumped the train to 3955. Volume died on the way down and has started picking up as these last two candles have gone green. We've also got an ascending triangle forming at the end of this little downtrend which signals a reversal.
