Hi all,
Is someone seeing a big movement up from this 1,40 level?
Could the 1,50 level be achievable sooner?
Can someone justify with techinal analysis or other technics.
Here in the forum i see almost all the people talking about retracement and down movements, but as we saw a year ago, all the time eurusd beated new highs, it still continued its up movement till 1,60.
Can we have a history repetition again this time. I trully don't expect PA going so high, but why not 1,50?
Good Luck to all who are betting down movements. I'm betting higher ones.

What one broker's data shows, even if they might be the biggest, does not determine whether or not there is a gap.

The overall market does and the fact that $300-$500m is retail, the other $2-3t from the institutional crowd has far more effect and determines open/high/low/close numbers.

Or maybe the question is, when is the price touching the "gap" opening price considered closing a gap? During the week, same day, how many pips it can go to other direction etc?

Gap always will be closed. sometimes fast or longer time... i usually put SL 300pips if doing gap trading, and always profit.

The long term prospect of EU is still bullish but I think time is ripe for a pullback. There's quite some divergence on the hourlies that would have to be unwinded sooner or later. That's not to say the big dogs won't try to push the market around one last time, what with the thin liquidity due to holidays in some countries and the temptation of barriers @4050 and 4100, but price definitely needs to correct b4 pushing higher.

U're correct the trend is still up so what i'll do is using only small lot for retracement and twice a small lot for buying at low. I think this week will be a witness whether we will go to 1.5 and beyond or not

To address his question. I think 1.50 is Unlikely because the last time Euro acheived that was on leveraged up borrowed money in what was though to bee an ever expanding environment. Now Euro is not that much better that USD, really. US is paying Euro banks $$ for credit defaults swaps and other bailouts. Equilibrium is somewhere near here IMO.
