USD/JPY Discussion

The cad/jpy &usd/jpy has been moving similarly, and if you watch the cad/jpy, it has turned bullish becos of the trendline , usd will hit 97.50 before it turns south again

there are better chances for the USDJPY pullback to continue if the pair manages to overcome the 96,20 area

Daily pointing up but monthly pointing down
I am long and feeling it's gonna move up at least another 100 pips not sure though and ready to switch for short.

Recent yen rebound is probably because being rejected by 50% (fibo 101.50-87.40).

I closed my long and went short. It looks short on charts but We all know how it is with that. If it goes below 95.60 then most likely it will continue down.

If it breaks 95.60 then next support is @94.50 on my daily charts and monthly is certainly pointing down.

I hope yen keep going down, to resume last trend. It will do better if it could break last monday low, this week.

it's going past 96.00 any time now

i am waiting a close above 96.10 by the end of 10:00 GMT and than i will probably aim for 96.30 in the short term.

http://www.fxadvices.com/tp.gifThe 4H stoch is bullish but there is an important resistance around 98.90. So far I am against going long in this pair as long as we are below 96.10. If the 4H charts can close above it, I might go long until 96.35-96.40 region. I am staying away from shorting the pair at the moment as well since there are not enough indicators for a possible downwards movement.

I see some tough times for the USD heading down. There are multiple areas of support at around 100 pip increments that have been areas of S/R multiple times.

I am currently short and have been since 96.5. We have just broken through the first barrier which has been a pain in the hide for close to a week now. Next downside target is 95.00 pysc area then the next support were I expect to get that bounce. I do expect a retrace to the latest support line. If it holds and becomes resistance I may add to my position.

I dont use the fancy indicators that some here use, my view is purely based on candle info and price patterns. I have attached a chart.

I still think these levels are good to buy this pair

Could be something there. In my journal I analysed the weekly chart and we are currently in the middle of some FIB wars. If the bears win out, watch your hats as this could signal downwards to the 70's. DO i think this could happen? I have seen funny things happen in this market so nothing would suprise me.

Textbook Head & Shoulders-

I think we'll be working this to the downside for a while.
