after beautiful 4hr bear divergence, euro started it's retracement. If it breaks 38.2Fib it may fall back into channel... I'm short since 92 and will be looking to cover @ 1,35 if it stalls there - 4hr 50ema and 50% retracement. Trade well...

Get out immediately. 50% is good, but if you lose any more of that, will take very long to come to even 50%. Wait for right opportunity. This is time to wait and re-think.

s&p may trump direction in the short while.. it was down today along with oil.. oil inventorys were -4% and yet oil was lower..i agree with everything said about charts pointing north..but other factors are affecting eu in the short run for now.. long may not be safe now

I am selling E/U @ 1.3556 with 100 pip trail and T/P @ 1.3470 for a total of 86 pips

Don't do the crime if you can't take the time bro...Relax.. it might take a while to go back to 1.3700 or it could go there in an hour. If your life depends on 1.3700 well then just do something about it now, cause now is all you got!

Gator, I feel a trap being laid for Thursday manipulation. I am almost out with only 1/10 long position. Will re-enter Friday morning NY session to go with the trend of the day.

You may like to check last few weeks to compare trends on thrusday and next day (friday) as a pair of days. You would know what I mean. The best way would be to go backward and then again forward, week by week. Things will become more clear. Or maybe I got just a crazy thought, but no harm in checking.

when it touched 882 s&p today eu bounced..critical retrace for s&p... if breached and closes below..it could be a wild ride for a little while..

Good eyes.... except correls is a tad skewed ever since this financial turmoil and I am weaning myself of correls for now until trading sentiments/conditions return to normalcy.

read fridays post about s&p... i got better charts now and revised number to 882.31 (actual low 882.59) before it hit today. i call that a direct hit.... i missed it by 1/3 pip..with new number.. all usd crossed bounced when it hit..s&p is the magnet for the time being..at the exact time it hit eu was at 3565 area then bounced.... then came back even lower... its pulling the strings... right now it is the other equity players..it all depends on s&p imo in at least the short term. ak and myself rode the hs on ej since last night.. and since bounce i sold all the little peaks.. all green so far.. if it aint broke dont fix it..

I took another look at my e/u dynamic chart and interestingly even basing/rev signal not generated/seen yet. PA need to take out 13540 again if it wants to test last low@[b]13522[/b] or new low at 13470 which atm seems unlikely.

Just a thought in order to put a tight rein of this slippery PA. Thats THE reason why I always advocate new trade setups after topping/basing/rev is generated which will always keep you on the right side of the trade as opposed to picking tops or bottoms. Of course everyone wants to be seen as a hero for doing that. To a selected few, timing can be easily fixed and many pips will follow...............

Thanks for sharing Gator. I am lately lightly in touch with equity, just look at closing figures - was working more on my risk assessment and finalizing job handover/takeover. Will get in touch back right away. What you mentioned today (and yesterday as well) about S&P seems very important.

Good to hear that you are in green. I too played certain pairs, small positions but on all my accounts. Closed today with a satisfying more than x% profit. Could have been times more, but combined on all accounts (including my main account) is more than what I need for rest of the week plus the next week to risk. With my risk reward play, it should multiply in next few days. At least I now have a base to play with without touching my equity. Wish you all the best and thanks again for sharing.
