I too short about 1.3660 and expecting a strong pull back, expect target 13430 which is the 200 EMA support on day chart...

I don't post it cause it is a little set-up I use and won't divulge, can't post every setup here in its specifics, but that is not my purpose anyway and I try to post the general setups.

Nice observation, but don't forget the 240 min candles. 3700 could still be on the cards. Just a possibility from counting candles.

Hi everybody, Fishy here. This question is for notch but open for debate. Apparently it does not have connection with EU but I'm getting. There. Regarding the discution I had last week with notch, I think I'm getting closer to my goals.

I start from a simple question. I have to sell a lot of Euros/Dollars (reasons are not important - maybe a bank client needs the money to make a payment, etc...). I just have to sell it. My goals would be defined by time and also getting a good price. How would I proceed?

To complete the picture, I have to add that you'd have to sell so much that you'd probably take down the market hence you will not get a good price.

1. Go to a bank and ask to buy another currency pairs (swap)..

2. Go to a EU country and spend it all...

Right, but you ARE the bank. You need to buy/sell a currency. How do you proceed? When do you sell/buy, how much, etc...

My answer will come in just a gippy, wait 5-10 mins on EUR/USD chart, because I think something is gonna happen now.

4hchart D-Top and 5min chart H&S give good confirmation that price may fell down ..

Here's my point of view: The chart is creating a double top something and the price will land on the cross of the lower tl and s/r line at 1.343x (or even a bit earlier). If it happens earlier, we might even see 1.340x.

this is off topic but beware of money laundering. 2 weeks ago they arrested here in Georgia (europ) a Canadian citizen who managed to fake US Dollars so well that the banks didn't even recognize it .
even using all methods UV lights ...etc . and they released a video tape showing him describing how he did it to an undercover agent who had a hidden camera . and he used 100 US dollar bill to duplicate it and it can't be recognized at all. so to make a fake 100 USD Bill he needs original 100 USD bill and it can make only one duplicate. this will end up doubling the amount of money he had. and they confiscated lots of 100 USD Bills but they can't tell so far which is the fake and which is the real .

just carefull because it looks fishy to banks and even to individuals.

I do sometimes if I am positioning in that direction. In this instance I used it to get out, but could have done a stop and reverse. However, today I am mainly trading to the upside.

"The market has been up and down today. There is indecisiveness ... we had the strongest April month ever so people are wondering what is going to happen next," said Philippe Gijsels, senior equity strategist at Fortis Banks.
"While things are still bad they are slightly improving so that is what the market is holding onto, the fact that earnings season, even though it was poor, was better than people expected," said Gijsels.
On the upside, energy stocks were in demand as crude gained 0.9 percent. BP (BP.L), Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L) and Total (TOTF.PA) were up 0.2-1.6 percent.
However, Tullow Oil (TLW.L) fell 0.6 percent as it said gas production performance in the UK had been marginally below expectations even though it said it performed strongly so far in 2009 and that, overall, its performance is in line with expectations.
Car makers were among the best performers. France's Renault (RENA.PA) was up 5.6 percent after Carlos Ghosn, chief executive of both Nissan and Renault, said there were signs of improved access to credit and a gradual return to consumer confidence. [ID:nT38173]
Volkswagen (VOWG.DE) gained 6.3 percent after the chairman of VW said it should play the leading role in any merger with Porsche SE (PSHG_p.DE). [ID:nLC405535] Porsche was down 4.2 percent.
Fiat (FIA.MI) was 3.6 percent higher after General Motors (GM.N) said it was interested in keeping a minority stake in its restructured European operations and plans to have a framework for a deal to sell the unit by the end of the month.

Imperial Tobacco (IMT.L) shares dipped 4.5 percent after the cigarette group signaled that it is likely to moderate its dividend payout due to the cost of restructuring at its recent acquisition of Altadis.
Airbus parent EADS (EAD.PA) slipped 5.6 percent after it posted a 70 percent slide in first-quarter operating profit after a new charge for its delayed A400M airlifter and cut its forecast for civil plane orders as airlines combat recession.
Across Europe, the FTSE 100 .FTSE index was up 0.3 percent, Germany's DAX .GDAXI was 1 percent higher and France's CAC 40 .FCHI was up 0.6 percent.

*EURO/DOLLAR: "Setback from $1.3668 corrective while $1.3343 holds, keeping our focus on $1.3736 mid-March high."
*DOLLAR/YEN: "Heavy sell-off breaks below 97.94 yen and 97.15 yen, opens 96.39 yen -- trigger for 95.63 yen bear trigger. Intra-day upside capped at 98.82 yen."
*STERLING/DOLLAR: "Constructive above $1.4944, with focus on renewed gains beyond $1.5261 to open $1.5374 January high."

DRESDNER KLEINWORT/COMMERZBANK
*EURO/DOLLAR: "The interday outlook remains directly constructive above $1.3550, with gains through the recent $1.3670 high targeting the $1.3740/$1.4040 levels (March 09 high and the 55 week moving average). A failure of the $1.3550 support would provoke slippage towards $1.3470/35, then the more significant $1.3375 weekly support."
*DOLLAR/SWISS FRANC: "The outlook is negative; with near term consolidation beneath the significant 1.1170 francs resistance (50 percent of the Dec 08 -- March 09 advance) paving the way for an extension of the downtrend through the recent 1.1020 franc low; targeting 1.0980/1.0750 francs.
