Well, I strongly suspect that the market has already seen the low of the day. There was quite a lot of upward single time framing since the 28th of April with a consolidattion/range day on the 1st. The 4th saw the sellers attempt to auction the market down but where overcome by buyers in the later period of the trading session. Okay, what does this have to do with your question? The upward movement on the 1st wasn't backed by gustso even though we finished higher on the day; there was very little single-time framing and buyers and sellers found value at most areas of the range except at 1.33522 & 1.32511. Both of these areas would need to be retested again before an upward movement can continue. A value auction took place at 1.33522 yesterday but buyers thought prices were to high at that level. The price moved down to test 1.32511 today and buyers firmly excepted this as an area of value and we saw a small rebound. So basically, as long as the price is above 1.3261 expect 1.35666.

Wasn't that what caused the candle - I think all those shorts are now looking to go long - lol.

Never could understand how to read volume. To me the chart says lots of ppl went short and will now be looking to reverse their pos pushing price up or am I missing something???

[OUTLOOK FOR ADP PRIVATE US JOBS DATA] ADP/Macro-Advisors data on private jobs in April are due at 12.15gmt, with estimates centered on a slower 645k loss in jobs, following the 742k March loss. That was the largest ADP job loss ever, following a string of smaller records. Not that the 2 have much to do with each other month to month, but if the ADP number shows the same sort of reduced job loss as the Challenger layoff report did, it's going to cause a stir. In March, factories shed 206k jobs after losses of 220k in February and 192k in January, making for by far the worst quarter ever in this sector. Construction job losses ran above 100k/month through Q1. There was a surge in service sector job loss to 415k in March from 368k in February which accounted for the record decline in the headline index in the month.

I was just about about to write to those who would want to short E/U. Not a good idea as there is bad news a coming. Market is due for a 50 pip run, at least. Those in a short position, get out.

As I look back I don't see any passengers left on the platform. Instead I see many scrambling on board their pick up racing to get to the next stop to catch this train. Counting apssengers on baord we have room for them.

Why is everyone saying the ADP report is Good News?
It terrible news. Just because market analyst missed it by 150,000 (or so) doesn't mean it's good news. 500,000 jobs loss is bad news as the US can't take any more hits to the economy.

But I guess the market has spoken by giving the EUR the rally pips.
