I was bullish too - but that's what THV told me to be - for, oh; about a total of 55 pips x "X" number of lots - ya - it was a good day.

For scalps, max 1:1, intermediate varies between 1:1.2 to 1:6
There is no typical day for me. Some days I make all I need by 1.00 pm, other days it takes all day, though normally finish before 7.00 UK if I can. Today has been exceptional.

This is what worries me too. That is why I asked for steel balls yesterday, but unfortunately no one sent me a pair, so I decided to go ahead even with no balls. I have set aside money that will take take me right up to 1.4200, however, expecting a complete recovery when it takes a strong jolt near 1.35000. I use several accounts and always take trade with the account that has least balance in it. That keeps me solvent yet satisfies my thrill of taking chances.

see that is where i need to get sophisticated. I rarely > 1:2. Most 1:1.5. also cant scalp

elvis left the building.. wait for a pullback... dollar crashed and burned..since april 16. do the math. were back to mid jans lows......euro flew........since april 27.. it broke north of key s/r today.. wait at least to trend line before betting against eu....this is why im not trading it until direction is known... equitys will stumble (wait for it to happen first) buy your time save your money..

yes you were... i only got 25 today but they were good ones... i had 65 on one trade and went to sleep.. woke up with +10 sl... oh well

If you are not seeing a 1:2 or more something is wrong.

Better day then I had... I'm down around 100pips.... it hurts to count so that is just an estimate

hehe. nah its been working well from a loong time now.

it is just that I analyze i am able to cut my losers in dollar terms. a 50 pips stop vs a 250 pip one will def. impact my winner ratio but I am thinking a highr RR will take care of that. Also in last 12 months the turbulence was handled better with large stops, now with some calm i can go back to smaller stops.

Gator, I maybe crazy but looking at A) The Tape, B) The price.

A. Daily tape show six visble trends- from rignt to left:
1. Small up trend
2. Bigger down trend
3. Small up trend
4. Bigger down trend
5. Small up trend
6. Bigger down trend

Now reverse the order:
1. Big down
2. Small up
3. Big down
4. Small up
5. Big down
6. Small up,

Therefore:
Next: Big down (with reference to next small up, not the previous small up)

B) crossing 1.3500 won't be easy. However, if it does, plenty of pips playing north.

Therefore: Short for now

Now replace the word "maybe" with word "am" in my first sentence and re-read

according to what i see, the cot traders are kinda flat. i consider them to be extremely short when there are close to -100,000 or more.

Just in case if anybody still following this trade setup, SL can be moved to 13191 now. I was almost spooked by the wick move down but recovered to reenter at 13277 level again. Typical volatile move just prior to probable m/t Trend Change/Reversal.

We are definitely now looking at a strong bulls run and if 13530 level is being violated/breached, bulls will reign supreme as outlined in my W/E analysis.

Right now, I am looking to buy into m/t trade any 60-80 pips dips all the way up until the next stalling/topping/rev signal spotted/generated.

if your right the ej is now presenting a simulior oportunity.. but the ceiling is much more easier to breach...since we got a trendline on eu to breach...imfuo
