First let me thank Cobraforex and THV team for this wonderful system and all support on this forum. I'm new to forex trading and have some questions regarding divergence trading. Do you take a trade if you have divergence (arrow pointing) on 1m TF and opposite divergence on higher TF (5,15min)? What time frames should I be looking at when scalping (is 1m,5min,1h OK or should I also look at 15m TF)? Thank you for replying.

I hate to rehash this, but I'm with ATC running MT4 version 4, build 223. I have the hull set up per the above wording, but still get only 5 digits on the display. Any advice?

Here is another way to trade the 15TF, I have added the slope direction line indicator(set period to 34), a color MACD, and another version of the Coral, coded by Cobra. It is adjustable, I have it set to 72. You could argue the color MACD is overkill and of course you can play with the histobars. You can also set the 5m chart up this way. Pretty self explanatory, you can trade straight off the 15m or drop down to the 5m to enter or for more aggressive trading. A good way is to simply wait for both the Slope Line and Coral to agree(same color), wait for the HA candle to close above or below the Coral, then drop down to your favorite 5m setup to enter.

on the contrary, looking at that chart of BeachBum, u can see certain signs of (impending) ranging:
--trend was up (based on 21 & 89EMA going up) but slow & fast Trix were going down
--ichimoku cloud & NonLagMAs are twisted/intertwined: if u put other short-term MAs &/or short-term Bollinger bands, i'm very sure u'll get the same results (that is, intertwined MAs & squeezed Bolli. bands)
--slow trix was continuously moving down towards the zero line (right to the point before the upside breakout) & yet price did not follow, price instead went down & up, down & up & never breached/broke the 21EMA (which would tell/warn u that the immediate uptrend is asserting itself & an upside move may be near, w/c of course happened & this broke the small, weak & very tight range)

My bad, it's there now. The default setting is 89, I just prefer the 72 ema. You could of course use the THV3 Coral also.

this is just standard MA, please go to 'navigator' on MT4 and find "moving average". Choose Exponential, Period is 89 on CLOSE.

Edited: and SHIFT is 0

Actually it is an indicator posted by Cobra a while back, I guess it's a colored EMA.

I am wondering from my experience so far... has anyone else noticed
that the less great moves usually occur when the trix crosses at almost no angle? I mean.. in other words.. most of the good crosses occur at an angle?

When there is a trix cross and they are almost parallel,
it usually is less of a good cross then when they cross at an
obvious angle. Is that just backtesting, looking back it appears
that way? I don't think so from watching live crosses that start with the
lines nearly parallel and then they cross and usually its nothing..
I believe I have observed this real time and checking history.

Would it be possible to add an angle indicator for crosses? When there
is a cross tell if there is at least a minimum angle of the two lines
where they intersect and when there is less than that in an easy to ready format?
like a bar for example could tell at all times if they are angled at a
minimum degree or not.. if not then when a cross happens, we could
decide to not consider those trades, and if there is enough angle it
would confirm so on this new angle bar at the time of cross and those
are the ones we consider for a trade.

Just sharing an observation and thought..anyone?

Yes Brian -

I have made comment on that before. I still like a good angle on fast trix for confirmation of a little mojo is the juice to insure some pippage - good observation!!

Something has to wrong, from page 1 and the manual----

Step By Step : Update your MT4 platform to the last V220 version !!!
1. Download/unzip/Copy/Save the MQ4/EX4 file into your Crogram Files(your broker)MetaTrader 4expertsindicators folder
2. Copy and paste the template file .tpl in Crogram Files(your broker)MetaTrader 4templates folder.
3. Copy and paste the sound files in Crogram Files(your broker)MetaTrader 4sounds.
4. Close your MetaTrader application (assuming it’s currently open … Ignore this if the application hasn’t been launched)
5. Launch your MetaTrader application
6. Open a new chart and right click on it, select the THV template, ready
