Ok, last things before I take off for a few hours.

believe it or not even with the move this week the daily is still in the "sideways to down" area, but the longer price remains above 3200 the higher the probability of the daily changing to UP.

the bank stress test is monday, but info will probably be leaked out over the weekend and .... here it is .... the gap might happen.

over the next few hours price will either stall completely or give a preview of mondays direction. at the moment my bias is neutral to down.

i have a short position open at 3317 and will be closing that position around 3. i for one am afraid of "the gap" and my broker.

I agree about the gap. I don't want to guess, but the gap is probably to the downside if it happen on monday to catch the longs, then a reversal on monday to catch the shorts

Hi there.
Looking to the 1H and 4H charts i see a possible uptrend, based on the 50 and 200DMA. The actual PA is on the 200DMA line.
Anyone has a theory wich could support what i am saying in order to support a decision to enter long, till 1,3700 or more (who knows).
I really want to ente long, for a few days or a week, at this time but not sure about it. Any ideias?

I contacted my broker (Oanda) about weekend trading, stop losses, and price gaps. I was told and have copies of the discussion that if price goes above the stop loss value over the weekend that the position would be closed at the stop loss value upon market open on monday.

I asked because I have a trade running that is in the green and wanted to know my exposure.

Any thoughts about should I trust them?

Wouldn't that be subjected to abuse of the system?

I mean if I perform a buy and a sell order on separate accounts on Onanda with a tight SL of say 20 pips. Come Monday with a gap of 80 pips, one of my position will make a positive gain of 60 pips either way.

If so, then it would be profitable just trading off the weekend gap with big lots at tight SL?

i dont trust mine at all and am wanting to switch but have not found one thats any different. i would make sure you keep a copy of what he said to you....or take your profit before close so you at least have that...just my thoughts

This week has been make a killing or be killed. I'm slightly negative on the week too and finally got a decent entry +50 at this time. Don't want to close it but too close to leave it open for fear of the "gap". Decisions decisions....

well, it looks like an inside day forming preceded by a bearish daily pin bar, chances are imho that it will break to the south

I mostly swing trade - never, ever scalp. But here is the one and only trade I took this week. Short off of yesterday's high, which was an ABC 2 step pattern at 100% fib projection right into 50% line of an Andrews pitchfork:
