The price never retraced to a level I have marked off on my chart, so I could be in a for a very good short term sell if the market goes higher.

Could be. I would say atleast 3500 is not too far fetched.

Prepare to get 3X that on a single trade if it gets to 1.3262. Also prepare to lose 1/2 that.

For me it simple. Its not gamling if you trade based on analysis. It is gamling if you trade without analysis or just put Sell or Buy hoping for good resault.

I've told yesterday that a Daily close above 1.3096 was time to close some shorts. Now it is time to wait and see.

For me the only area now shortable or more safe for shorts are above 1.3377 to 1.3433.

I am out for today, will wait to see if price cross 1.3300, if so I will be flat until I see price again above 1.3600.

For now the timing it is to see some retrace for next 3 M30, if no, so this only means that shorts are toasted, including mine!

While Mersch and Sramko were worried about the economic outlook, [ECB'S TUMPEL-GUGERELL] turned to the Bank's favourite topic, saying that inflation expectations were firmly in line with the ECB's goal. Recall that Pres Trichet had already said this morning that he saw infl expectations centering around 1.9%, below but close to 2%, just where the ECB likes it. Tumpel-Gugerell meanwhile, went on to stress that the ECB saw no risk of deflation, however, she did not think that there was a danger of massive inflation as a result of policymakers' actions either, basically implying that the Bank was getting it just right. Accordingly, she also pointed out that the conditions for a economic recovery were in place, but that rate cuts would take time to boost activity. She assured that the ECB would carefully analyse all potential risks to price stability.

[NORTH AMERICAN FX OPEN] US GDP provides the data focus, with Q1 GDP expected to put in another big decline (-4.5% forecast). The FOMC have little room to manoeuvre on rates at 18.15gmt, leaving emphasis on the statement.

[OIL] trading towards the top end of the range into today's US weekly crude stock data at Usd 50.64, just below session best. A 2 mn fill in crude tanks expected as refinery utilisation only ticks marginally higher. Gasoline stocks seen down 10k, whilst distillates up 750K.
