just curious, why put your stop @ 1.3150? i dont see any resistance until 1.3185 area.

I do agree with you Vin, this is against my normal trading plan, just experimenting here. Looks like a bad one too lol

Nah, just decided to risk 40 pips on this trade. This area, seems like a strong resistance area, so any push above 1.3150 will be considered bullish to me.

Then you should specify on your calls that this is against your plans or else ppl will take your call blindly and enter trades just like Chadhy here did

you could do that, but i prefer to short at higher levels. the place to go long was around the even numbers ie. 1.3000 and 1.3100. i have found that price almost never closes the day at even numbers, and 1.3000 would have been a good risk seeing how there was such a big down move and the us session still hadn't played out yet. so to answer your question, i would not go long at current level. already a big run up for the day, and there may not be as many buyers up here.

thanks for your info. I actually just scalped and got out with some profit.... its almost 1PM where I am and it usually does strange things at that time that I have noticed.. I thought it was going to dive down earlier this morning and then it ran up.. hate the days when I cant all it...

EU M15 Chart: Looks like a Bear Channel trap for the bulls....encouraging bulls to take on longs so the market movers can take the short side of the trades......before next leg down.

Edit: Added Convergence/Divergence to chart....."bottoms up, tops down" indicating downward PA may be upcoming.

Not a call, but will be watching for a drift or drop back towards the DP/ 3100 figure if M3 cannot be breached.

ADD: If M3 breached, the 3170/80 could be near target with ease.

Say bye bye to your SL who ever shorted at 1.311 and put a SL at 1.3150. I am not sure why ppl trade like this and keep loosing money. Main thing to learn is to learn trader mentality and figure how the big traders think. They obviously know that retail traders are going to short it once price breaks 1.3080 and lo behold we all shorted it was stay nicely below that level and traders kept on accumulating their short there and boom what happens next they shot right through the 1.3080 level. Lear how the big traders think

And it is so simple as hell...just follow Do not speculate... speculations are for idiots in politics ... trading is the most simple thing ever ...it was for hundreads years and it will be... buy , if go up...do not speculate about sell ...and vice versa....just folow the PA

i think he got out with small profit before run up. i shorted @ 3163, out at 3150. you are right about retail traders getting more short. personally,i don't place stops for brokers to hunt.
