I thought you would never ask! bear in mind that this indicator does not show m levels. These levels are the exact midpoint between the pivot levels and are valid S/R levels. I prefer less lines on the chart and find it easy to keep these hidden levels in mind without having more lines on my chart

Hey guys...wow...what a great (and long ) read this thread is! I haven't been trading forex for long - I believe I started in Sept 2008. Many months of demo, followed by live - which went with varying success.

After studying this, I decided to try it this morning and throughout the day when opportunity rose. Honestly, I'm a bit surprised at how well it worked.

Granted this is just day 1 for me, but no losing trades and I netted 110pips today on GBP/USD - long positions through midday EST and short later in the afternoon.

Sure, I left some on the table...but still learning this strategy and followed it to the "tee".

Thanks to all the folks that have contributed here...

Just thought I would share the EUR/USD daily chart as I got an early warning alert from melpheos' indicator. another down day today will complete a sell signal on that timeframe. This chart looks very bearish to me and could spell the end of the recent rally and another leg down as risk aversion returns. Price failed at a test of fib resistence and opened the day below the central pivot. Yesterdays down move was quite large and profit taking may cause tradable retracement on the lower timeframes. A failure to break lower will create a bullish 123 bottom chart pattern but the current bias for me is down

Ive taken this trade on the hourly chart as it lines up with my short bias from the daily. Time is 5.00am london time. Price has currently broken out south from the m2 pivot asia consolidation and the trade is doing well. entry was at 1 3310 with a stop at 1.3333 for a 23 pip stop. My target is 1.2960 for a 40 pip profit and a 1:2 risk/reward, Price is currently testing previous support/resistence level at 1.2990 If it can push through the target should be easily achieved

EDIT: Trade lost, false breakout, 1.2990 support held. I was going to take half off at that level but I was too confident. I love it when the market humbles me these days because it only costs me 1% my account

I watched the market for over 14 hours yesterday trying to catch the breakout. I was very patient and only took 2 positions and both were fakeout losers. The market broke out into an uptrend after I went to bed and I completely missed it.
I just took this signal today when I got home from work (yesterday I was rained off). I was a little late but I liked the look of the way price broke the R1 pivot. Heres hoping this uptrend has still got some legs. Im going to hit the couch

this 4 hr chart shows a trendline break with a sexy stoch signal forming on the 8.00am gmt candle. The candle still has 2 hrs to complete. My bearishness on tue has flipped to quite bullish if this break holds. I will be trading this signal on the completion of the 4Hr candle if its still a green light

EDIT: False alarm. no green light here, price has formed a pinbar retesting the trendline and erased the stoch signal (see second chart)

Edit #1: Stop moved to BE - 2 pips below most recent swing low.

Edit #2: Stopped out at BE. On to the next one...

My technical view for oil dictates that the current uptrend in commodities is to continue for some longer time, however, for sure we are nearing the end of this nice trend relative.
