wait for prices to go bellow 50 Fibs and if it does, lets short but if not, a retest to the 3180 would be seen then maybe to the 3300..

From about 3105 to 3080ish is very strong support area. Once price gets through there it should be fairly easy to reach 3030. Then there is another large area of support down to 2975.

I would expect stalling in both these areas.

before you longs get your panties in a knot.. consider this.. the second to last bar (last weeks green one) on this weekly chart stopped at dec high 38.2 retrace.. it also is the the 50% retrace on a march 15 week fib..i have pending entries at 3387 but doubt they get hit anytime soon.. but this is forex..and you have to play what you see. i could be 100% wrong so investigate this yourself.. check out the red lines..

reversal from friday....agree with dysan4x that big resistance @ 1.3080...also nice S-H-S on the hourly....4hr crossing nicely too....BUT, could have a rebound to 1.3150.....JCTrichet to speak @ 12:45....after he speaks everybody push DOWN!http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I think that that last HH (15 min bar 15:00) closing at 1.3119, saved the day for us shorts, should it have closed above 1.3124, it would probably gone North, and may still do so with a close above 1.3124..beware!!

it all depends on your prospective..everyone trades at different time frames.. below 3400 im bearish ... above it i may be holding my shorts until 3435...but this alone would not make me bullish..but i would not short either.. i would be neutral looking for a direction..either way

If this hourly candle closes above the neckline at 1,3120, the H&S will be invalidated.

I placed my stop at 1,3150 (took the short at 1,3120).

I hit my profit target at 1.3100. This has some potential for some more shorts but need to break the low of 1.3087. Right now might be a good time to go long if price hangs around at this area. Price right now is at 1.3130

I normally enter/exit on the 5min chart. This afternoon, I decided to play off the 15min, I will therefore exit the trade at a close above 1.3148, if needs be. But I am staying short for the present. (it's an add in from this morning) so not too serious.

This could be a replay from earlier in the month. Right now I see the break area from 3150-3170 to determine if we are going longer or not. I would not be surprised to see 3210 and if it goes that far, Gator might get his short entry hit.

im less confident that i was friday.. and friday i wasnt confident.. its what i call a santa entry.. its what i would want santa clause to bring me.. and since the trendline decending my target is getting lower, at the same time my sl remains the same.. its digging into my r/r..after taking a closer look at sl i would be more comfortable with 4045 sl..it would surely piss me off to hit it then go south to 2500 when a wasnt at pc to re-enter.. *L* had this happen at least 6 times in the last 1.5 yrears..

I know that feeling. I got stopped out by .0001 once and then price went where I thougt it would.

I still think this is on the down hill track, just taking it's time to get where I want it. Retrace is a part of it. Too bad it isn't a straight line. Would make this job a little easier.

Price action seems a LOT less volatile than previous months on the EUR/USD. Look how trendy it is.

I think something weird is going on. Things appear to be calming down. This feels like it was before all the shocking volatility we've been getting.

Definitely different kind of price action. Do you guys agree?

I mean, look at the hourly chart and tell me that isn't less volatile and more trending than what we've seen in months gone by.

took short near red circle kind of simple trade. wish i was in short a lot sooner. not bad for +50. stopped on a dime on the red channel line.
