Yes but people are now aware that this is not a localized problem anymore...It is a worldwide problem, so they are heading to the "safest" currency. The fact that the "safest" currency is based in the nation that caused the problem and is still an incredibly sick economy doesn't matter...because the sickness was transmitted around the world and every economy is sick.
Also, you need to look at some longer term charts to see how long it takes to turn currrencies around...

let me try to sum it up..u.s is the biggest importer in the world. we aint buying as much.. look at wallmarts latest figures.(buying less from china..helps u.s. deficit). u.s employment trend is lower with no end yet in sight. cali is the worlds 7th largest economy. they reported over 11% unemployment. (add 5% to those who quit looking and its 16%) if cali was a stand alone country it would qualify as a great deppresion..so even people with jobs are scared of not having one.. u.s. savings rates are 5% and heading north......now japan reported about a month ago exports down 50% and just last week e-zone down 25%... and the trend is still lower... u.s makes nothing anymore.. we are a service economy... this down turn will hurt others more then us because we will start fixing stuff we already own and buy less new..so fixing stuff keeps dollars home.(look at car part stocks they are going up). this alone will help deficit and strentghen dollar... now just for fun throw in food... everyone needs it.. and with dollar more valuble food cost goes up for the world.(u.s. is the worlds bread basket) further reducing deficit further strengthen dollar and so on...a weak dollar hurts all exporting countries..cause it makes u.s buy even less of what we already are not buying...the e-zone has to do something to weaken euro for its own good (thus strengthen usd). the clock is ticking and food is costing more each time..i suggest gold coins hidden in shoes to pay off border gaurds.. i suggest making a garden and get a mule while they are still cheap. might be on the drastic side but side but history shows europe dont mind a good fight.. stranger things have happend.. russia is still a wild card and could easily wait till winter and freeze half of europe this time without firing many shots..a good war takes peoples mind off overthrowing leaders..

the sad thing is the poorer countries will have less to eat. this will create more unrest in the world.. it will increase war possibilities..

AUD is the strongest currency right now (weekly and daily)
followed by NZD
good opportunities to buy those...


euro is dropping fast... while it is good opportunity to buy cheap... I would not buy it yet.... not until 7th may

im short on both vs usd of them and in the green.. the long trend for them is lower..china reported 6.1% growth a snails pace for china... but they always lie.. after posting this friday billie showed me actual figures.. it was only up 5% then billie told me the cpi should be subtracted so that 5% then becomes 3.5%.. using his method.. if china is buying less raw material it puts pressure on commodity currencies..the 200 ma is lower with a strong angle..but im a longer trend trader..both pairs have broke their lower trend line a month old to the larger south trend.. just a thought..

sorry man you know i dont sugar coat it.. but in this case i painted a rosy picture...you got n. korea you know the ones who got a nuke in the last eight years along with iran... yeah those guys.. they cant grow much food.. they are already starving.. what would you do to save your starving children..?? then you got the iran guy over there.. whats he gonna do when oil is 20 bucks a barrel... i sure feel safer now... dont you?

Hey Guys I am long on EU at 2930. I am expecting to be able to make about 100 Pips off this at this stage.

I see this off the H4.

I am using a 50 pip stop here I know it is slipper but I cant resist temptation. Trust me I am not like this usually but right now it looks very probbale trade
