yes I am looking at your thread. Do you trade full time? One suggestion, apart from the charts also post 1-2-3 steps, like this crosses that buy, this bounces off that sell etc. You get the idea. Makes it easier for all.

Yes I am off too it almost 10 here, my gf ditched me to go to a school seminar something we are off to camping tom, will be back Sunday now.

So long!

It's not that kinda system, think of it more as a Map, it's definately not cross based, you've got to forget almost everything else you've learned which I've got some bad teachings to forget myself.

Sadly not full time, but I am aiming to go that way over the next few months, even then 3 - 4 hours 4 days per week, no point over doing it
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

lol,

teachings I guess are never bad-it is just the way we receive them?

I like PA guys, but I have been able to mix the squiggly lines with s&r to remain profitable over long terms. I like all cross-over methods. They are pretty reliable if used with some common sense and over a longer time frame.

check out that chart i posted.. keep an eye on the dollar index.. its at a crossroads now..its got a lot of momentem behind it.. the 200 ma is the white line..

IMO, the dollar index is only a cnbc hype which like ALL other known indicators cannot and will not work effectively and profitably by ITSELF or any others 'standalone' indicator methodology advocated in this highly controversial and egoistical FF forum. The index and all others singular indicators/index only show you where the dollar/currency is at BUT not where the dollar/currency is heading next.

If you have a static indicators in a consistently dynamic conditions, you will end up wrong most of the times. (most dont even know why they are wrong)..

Most of them here dont even realise that a simple indicator settings is different and have to be adjusted/tweaked according to the different prevailing market conditions and different currency pairings AND yet I can see all sort of fantastic claims of 2-10% profit/day in this thread which left me totally flummoxed. I honestly want and hope to believe them......

Just my own perspectives and views, no offense intended except hoping it will help somehow....

i guess your right... if you trade minute charts.. but i dont.. my time frame is a day chart.. and may use a 1 or 4 hr to enter.. but the 2 indexes are usually opposite.. i dont have stand alone indicator.. as my post says there are others..and you just mention the dollar and not its cross the euro chart.. dont let the forest stop you from seeing the trees.. i have many post on this subject with detailed imformation on other pairs.. my 75% opinion was taken with many other indicators in mind also.. if you have a thought on direction put it out there.. but dont shoot the messenger... i put what i see out there with some charts for you to make up your own mind.. so my point is i have not put a stand alone indicator.. ive talked about the eur index as well as gu au and nu... if you take all of this into account the pictures high probalbility begins to emerge.. and many times i do post entrys pryer to taken them my longest about 2 months pryer... on the gu...sometimes right sometimes wrong... if you want to discount my post thats fine.. but dont add the crap with the statistics with nothing to base it on unless i did it..right or wrong i stand behind what i say and ask anyone else to check it with their own trading strategy.. so what do you think is gonna happen to the eu? and please post reason and all indicators..

and how did cnbc create the dollar index? and your right it only shows where it is... so show any indicator that shows where it will be at any givin time with 100% acuracy and ill give u a million bucks usd. oh and you have to teach me this method..

one thing for sure.. the stars are linning up for a big move regaurdless of direction..i would think headfakes may be hundreds of pips..we are no longer in kasas.. and this may take a while.. or be over as fast as prom date sex..i got mine.. are you gonna get yours?

This last week was good to me and I closed all my positions late Friday booking weekly profits.

Short positions are still favorable. Price is at an important support level and I would expect to see some retracement coming fairly soon. Short term daily RSI and stochastics (my preferred indicators) are oversold with some room to run so it is still possible to see 1.2980 before any major retracement. Possibly into the 1.3200 area. My overall bias is still short and I will be looking for new entries on the pullbacks.

As always, take care and be profitable.

Not much movement at the moment.
I'm very happy that the down move has made me come into profit for this week. It's a small profit after the losses earlier on April 13, 14 and 15.
But still a profit, even if its less than 1% of my account.

I think I'm going to sleep because I'm tired and PA doesn't move very much at this moment. Actually its not moving at all.

Hey forgive me I'm an addict.

ok... that post was the last of many post..of many. i was trying to figure out why the was not having much movement over the last 2 weeks.why it was headed south while other u.s. crosses were mostly north (excluding yen)..whether it jumps back in the trend line and goes north is not impossible. any trend can be broken.but my long term bias on eu is south..... moving a few hundred pips either way is expected.a few hundred pips is nothing.. the white line is a 200 ma its up/usd.. its starting a curve down on eur also on those charts.... nothing written in stone.. be sure to read 86774
