well well well.
Pa finally broke down out of the range that has held up the last few days between 1.3225 and 1.3130(1.3150 was acting as support as well). I was flat during this move and continue to be until a retest of this support occurs to prove it has become resistance (either 1.3130 or 1.3150 levels).

At that point I may join the ride short but given the news during NY session I may choose to remain flat. Lets not forget the bs spit out but Citibank started the rally from 1.24xx all the way to 1.37xx....now facts will prove whether this rally up has been justified. Add on top of that...options expiration day.

Sidenote...the downtrend (blue lines) has the lower wall around the 1.2900 area

in order to make EU mov up freely USD CHF should go down from this level 1550 its the top of the channel

on every retrace try short... here at 3115

EDIT:

My personal impression is that we need (on a 4H basis ) a candle to the bottom of at least 150pips. No matter where it started.

It's easy. Even if Trichet was to personally guarantee with his first born that the Euro is and always will be an outstanding currency. Even if he announced that it's now backed by gold and platinum and silver simultaneously, first the Euro will dip as people's first reaction is (nearly) always "WTF!"

Then they digest and things go back to "normal"

I have noticed on my daily chart the price just bounced off the 50 sma, and is also close to the bolli band bottom as well. on the other hand it has banged its head on the 200 sma several times (or failed to stay above) and the macd is getting ready to punch through the water line to the south. i have found this to be a very strong indicator of where price is going. in this case, it is down; but there could be a small retrace before the next leg. imho

I see a lot of experienced traders here, who do not hesitate to share their analysis, opinions and other mind food. That is quite remarkable.

Based on my newbie analytical abilities, i hope to see something like 1.295 today. I'm short already.

I've been offline with another power outage and both times I get back online to see price has dropped again. Maybe I better call the power company to find out when they are working out here next time so I can enter another short.
