Hi to all.

A certain PippiNole brought this excellent thread to my attention a few days back so I just wanted to stick my head in and say hello.

It's a lot to take in but I've been enjoying the read so far and the way you guys trade certainly ticks a few of my boxes. Great stuff!

I'll try and get more involved and contribute (hopefully for better and not worse) as I go along.

Until then, green pips to all.

So price has now pushed above the wick of the 1hr. pin and is in the upper wick of the 4 hr hangman. This is the best entry, But do we just enter and place our stop or wait for some confirmation it is going ot turn back now ?

Welcome Macc The more the merry .... This is a pip making machine. "dammit I lost the Key to turn it on!" We are all at different levels of learning so just chime in with whatever. It is all good here.

I'm not going to take the short myself. Good entry would be around 4935 with SL over the wick of the h1. Remember, volume is low and market manipulators could move price to what they want for end of day close. I'm waiting to see how end of day works out.

Ken, I got back in at 131.05. I have a trend line in this area and price came within 4 pips of the 62 ema. Stop above the 62 ema. Plus the candle closed with a short wick.

Ok But I was talking about EJ LOL. and price went above the 1hr wick but not the upper wick of the 4 hr hangman.. But you NORMALLY enter straight away and in this case put the stop above the 4hr. 25 or 30 ish... seems like same scenario...

Does anyone know the exact date that hedging will be out as per the NFA ruling....I currently use IBFx as my main broker for my live account and would like to consider another out-of-country broker as this can be a great deficit to one's trading....any info. you might have ???

That works same stop just about as going of the 4hr. If the 62 wasn't there... Thanks A lot..

I do recommend two accounts, but I do not recommend hedging. I recommend one takes the loss, licks their wounds, learns from their mistake and not do it again. If you want to talk to someone about hedging and the nightmare it can create, talk with nAVIN. He'll fill you in on the pain. Now, you'll see me long and short at the same time, like today, but I'm always green in both or taking the loss in one shortly there after. It's all about the entry!
