The 62% level has been tapped on the swing fib, but the M3 pivot and the 21sma are 40 pips or so North of current price... not a bad place to reload from.

What's not shown on this 3hr is the 50ema and 21sma convergence on the 2hr at a'rd 3245/50.

I like a hard ceiling close above me. If it busts and clears, then you have a Clue...

You guys go long, I'll go short and we'll meet later for Guinness. Winner buys...

I continue to see the drop, but just in case we may see some crazy false up move I have closed some shorts.
H3 is really crazy, I bet a double top there!!
My M30 Chart is telling me to be cautious, and price is not closing today where I was waiting.
If we start the new day trading to the downside and a break of 1.3169 I think Bears will win.

But careful, next 5 days will be very nasty in my opinion.
The direction will be set after that!

..... is really a level to watch!

Let's see if it will go again to that level.
If it will in next 3 M30 candles, we will see a new up move, and then it will be very hard decision to close shorts or enter longs.
My H1 chart is entering in a decision time.
Two emas are getting close, usually when the current set up happens means Drop for some good amount of pips.

I have posted already that chart.

Got that dump, Selling at my 24hour SMA, took profit on hitting 1.3200, quick 19pips

FXCM users, move to the double click with built in pre set SL less to think about, quicker in and out, no stress due to the auto SL.


Inability to exit losers = SL Automatic required, I MUST NOT CHANGE THE SL!! Bail before or take my lumps!!

I don't use 30m anymore for the reasons shown below. 3 candles give a more accurate picture of PA imo. The 30m looks more aggressive than it really was when viewed in 20m mode, and one less candle per hr than using 15m helps to simplify things as well.

It's all in what you get used to I guess, but I'm comfortable watching one mid term TF like the 20m instead of of 2 TF's like the 15m and 30m that will just confuse me and/or freak me out... something easly done anyway.

Of course one has to have access to alternate TF's in the first place, hence my love affair with Accucharts ((shameless plug))

I was down big for awhile, so not a smart days trading despite closing up, definately not a sustainable error hence change back to tight SL's!!

I usually use this indicator and it is generally pretty clear in telling me where to go

But currently is is very confusing and if you enter now there is no way to tell where you get out

You are not alone. I am down too. But it is all part of the game. I closed my shorts at a loss before leaving for work. It went straight down in no time after that. That is why I hate working during NY session.

Agreed. I think Technical s are going to be a little misleading for this drama that is to unfold- I guess lots of people belive downturn is over (I too) and this means the pairs will head up or down to their pre-recession levels. I am being very careful now, triple checking my techs. Tight stops etc.

I lost a good deal 80 pips on GU, I had projected 4805. It just came whiskers and turned back. I wanted to hedge it and take a long term stand, but todays happens to be my month close, so I thought better to close this one and start the new month fresh and no loads.
