You even considering (and talking about) this possibility makes me even more bullish on EUR long term. I live in EU and the finger pointing from the US still has long way to go before even touching my personal bottom line. No economic disasters like 22% Detroit around here so far.

I'm liking the sharp but smallish run up from the DP/CP at the 5pm Open.

Shorting what I hope is the top at 3232... +2 locked in case it blows up.

I would like to have seen the QP at 42 tapped first tho. Take what one can get...

good indicators you have there..
this week gu,au and dow seem immune to bad news but soar at any sign of return of risk appetite.
will some news that a certain bank has broken-even provide the signal that the crisis is over???
i keep running into trouble for selling gu and au and cant bring myself to buy into them

My long term bias like always is bearish. However current pa is as you say neutral so it is anyone's guess where we are headed next. The range is in between 1.3130 and 1.3415/25 with a few S/R levels in between...the one we are currently closest to being 1.3225. As we can both see...it is trying to become resistance but its not really succeeding yet. If it is still acting as support, the next level of resistance is the upper wall of this current downtrend, and after that 1.3320 or so.

As the chart will show...there is alot of indecision right now and am currently flat...waiting for further pa before any further assumptions.

My main unexplained indicator as been the COT report in the last two weeks... been changing to bullish... watching closely PA at support zones helps... but we're still without clear direction.

Sideway markets... Range between 1.30 and 1.35..

Buy @ low and sell @ high.. Waiting for a breakout for a clear direction..

I agree with you there, and we have no 401Ks either, but like everyone else we all have our own problems, mainly the fact that EU economy is mainly export driven.

Finger pointing is the common act of those that don't know how to solve their own problems and criticize others for the way they solve theirs.

If it bounces between the BB's all evening, I'll be happy.

If it breaks North, I'll close my various shorts be happy.

Locks some AUD longs, but this EURO has be guessing.

Don't want to be exposed too long anywhere.

Tomorrow'smarket action could b telling, down day would be nice; would prefer to buy dollar shorts cheaper next week.

check out longer ma on those pairs the 20 has crossed 50 and even the 100 on the gbp..last ime it happend was august.. it just crossed north a few days ago... the 50 is about to cross the 100.. and the 200 is not out of reach.. just a tiny 700 pips north..in longer terms this is nothing for gu..we could get this in 2 days on the right news..or even one day..the au and nu are in simuliar positions..if we truly have a breakout i cant see eu not responding..but its possible.. the eg wants to go south and is.. just hit a little support today... i have to eat a little crow now and i will not short eu at this time ...except maybe a scalp either direction..

IMHO the euro its very weak at the moment, I don't believe that can go below 1.30/295, at least in the short time

BTL, your 3hr comment got me thinkin...

Here's a couple things I'll be watching.

The 62% level has been tapped on the swing fib, but the M3 pivot and the 21sma are 40 pips or so North of current price... not a bad place to reload from.

What's not shown on this 3hr is the 50ema and 21sma convergence on the 2hr at a'rd 3245/50.

I like a hard ceiling close above me. If it busts and clears, then you have a Clue...

You guys go long, I'll go short and we'll meet later for Guinness. Winner buys...

ADD: That current 3 hr candle is only 30 minutes old, so lots could happen in early asia... watch your knickers.

i got stopped out 3 times since last week on the sl side. i was lucky enough to be in the green a little but gave up hundreds of pips.. i figured something was up when gu was going higher past dec/jan highs.. something is up... this chapter aint written yet..then we got the sheep pairs doing the same..

Because I had some shorts below actual price.
I have in my two accounts about 25 short trades open!
My exposure at this time was about 12%, now only 6%.
My averages now in one account 1.3263 and other 1.3244.
My best Short trades 1.3377, worst one 1.3000.

I closed one of my oldest short at 1.3000 and a lot of other trades and I didn't lose one cent on that one.

I was too confident about to see this week the 1.3100 cross, and I continue, but just in case now I am less exposure to what can happen now.

BUT DIVE you fu.....king Euro!!

I think it will, price was retesting again 1.3237 just to annoying me!
I have told you guys that when I broke my rules, Market do not like it!!

candlestick patterns only...usually the candle that follows those 2 bull candles is a bear one that fully engulfs both which in the process would make a new low or at least get close to the lows. Interesting
