Thanks, it was acctualy little bit more but it is not important ..
If you take to attention that each pair each day make several tousands of pips, once eur /usd maked more than 10 000 pips of movements in one day, so take 100-200 or more pips is not science As we know, trading is at first psychology and then trading plan.

But as I like to say, if you want to be a trader, know yourselve first. But this is for long discussion.

I call myself as advanced beginer in trading, because I did not made more than 1000 pips in one day. Actually, I will call myself as trader, or proffesional trader, after I will be able to make more precise decisions in trading then my friend. Sometimes it is amazing for me, when I see him sitting in front of PC, ho look on chart and say " Today will be great day, 500 pips ahead " And he is able to make it. When he said this, he is able make 480-520 pips. Or " Today not worthy to look on it, dogs are sleeping " As he call Big boys... he is trader and I am his student. When I will be like him or better, then I will call myself trader.

But most important thing what I learned is, - Know myself first - is very essential thing to have virtuose easy emotions under control

Then wait to execute according to my plan (or not). I look for that short term edge during these times of consolidation (like right now) to glean potential direction. Always looking at bigger tf's to execute on 1 min - is what works for me. Bias is retrace short.

..is very strong S&R, if it gets below, it should go down quite well.
This is why I regarded my short at 1.3365 a high risk.

this thing could shoot up 30 pips at any moment....or just drift down another 50

You explanation is a bit confusing to me. Is there are chart to help clarify? I don't quite understand how you decide to enter and exit according to your explanation.

I use a triangle pattern to help me scalp. The price will bounce back and forth as it condenses and I try to scalp it before it tightens too much and squeezed range offers no more good value. Then I watch for breaks.

I don't believe that it will go up 30 pips
Momentum points lower on every time frame 5M to 4H

IF it does go down it will more than likely go down a lot more than 50, that is an if. I hope it does, I shorted at 1.3365 in order to try and catch it, but it was and still is a high risk trade.

Just watch how it is reacting at 1.3363..............

Small range days are followed by large range days and vice versa.

Nothing stays the same. If it did trading would be 1-2-3 easy.

Unless you're counting the 5th decimal place maybe? Then it would be "pippettes" I believe or so I'm told.

A very rewarding day for me, fetched me almost three weeks worth of pips

I had a long at 1.3139 sitting there since last Thursday, and had a buy order entered for 3235 when I left for work. Had set a t/p at 1.3322 (yeah yeah, I know,let the profits run..but have not I told y'all I take my profits too soon ). Bingo!

Returned home after about 9 hours and pleased to see my 270 + pips.

This is the reason I always prefer to trade off H4. Signals come sparsely,but when they do, they are very reliable. Also means a lot less stress managing these trades.

Question will be what next guys? IMO, the move seems to have lost its steam, and in fact it looks to go south on H1. But I am not trading this, as my H4 does not tell me go short. Be careful now, could go higher, but my bias is southwards now. Will need to wait a few more hours to make up mind.

I don't think we are going to see a meaningful retrace b4 tomorrow release of US data, if at all.
The 4hrlies are still very bullish and not overbought.

Wait to short until it breaks 3325. Any shorts over that are risky as I see a 3400 may come tonight.

as long as we stay above 3350 i am keeping long.

asia in about an hour....so i think if we can maintain this area might still be some room up.

near 200 pip climb over 8 hours.....if there was going to be a big failure of 3400 area....might have / should have at least retraced more then 30 or so pips.

i don't know....maybe i am just wishing to see my longs pick up some more profits before having to exit and look for the next trade.
