No, but you may be right, any candle can be the last one in a trend---long/short term--- but until we see higher highs-higher lows I'm still betting on something like this (my spread will be to wide, and I am not likely to trade this)

sunday has bigger volume than friday as you can see, looks like a hidden titties divergence to me.

The only reason why you see a gap is because your broker is closed during the weekend. Oanda is open all weekend and never has a gap.
It is totally normal and logic that if price starts moving after the weekend and your broker is still closed that you will see a gap when your broker opens.

that was not true a while back in jan for about 7 wks straight before fridays close dollar got weak... i entered trades friday an hour or so before close in pairs such as eu and gu short.. out of the 8 wks i had winning trades 7 wks straight... my 8 and finale was a loser... these trades were posted here and well documented before being placed..i did believe all you said at one point until noticing this pattern.. but this shows me nothing is a sure thing..

I guess I was lucky, I can't sit behind my computer every Sunday @ 3pm pst.
There are other things in life then trading.
I'm a married man and do have other obligations sometimes even if I don't like them.
I'm quite sure that weekend you won't find any posting of me on this thread

But today I'll be there and play it out.

Oh and ........................ In Jan I was not trading EU at all, I only traded GJ at that time.
In Feb I went from GJ to EU because I wanted to make my entries bigger. That is less risky with EU than with GJ. I'll go back to GJ in a few months when I feel safe with the bigger entries.

I had the same problem with mine. But I swapped out the flux capacitor and problem solved.
