dam that was a nice move down. I was somehow expecting it but didn't have a position in the market. Couldn't take part as I had been busy with work.
Hey thats what you get when working and trading at the same time can't take all the good moves.

Very nice move, well not nice comes as too fits and spurts at this time of night, I guess low volume through my MT4 chart people or something, which makes it hard to read.

Looking for another down spurt, but just in my head trading at night, thinks my charts have frozen so if it's already happened, doh!!!

* Euro unmoved but yeah frozen arrggghhh I hate that *

Not necessarily true with bucketshops like Ibfx.

In spite of some unrelated issues I have with them, they have been very good about executing any limits I've set on an order to the the pip, either before or after the order is triggered.

The exception is entering on the fly and getting requoted, but that's generally easy enough to work a'rd unless trading news or some such thing.

BTW... came in to see my long got stopped out at +3 pips... oh well. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.

Just thought I'd throw this pic out there if anybody can figure out a way to trade it...

90% of traders (actually former traders ) lose because they plan for next trade to be a winner.

Nothing wrong with wanting your next trade to be a winner. Hoping is another matter. There is no hope for those who hope when it comes to trading.

But the 10% who win are the ones who plan for the next trade to be a loser and act accordingly in advance with stops and stick to them. No deer caught in the headlights or second-guessing coulda, woulda, shoulda.

If the market was "supposed" to do this and it doesn't, time to reverse or get flat. Taking losses is all part of it. Not taking a loss on a trade when it should be done turns the trader - into a loser.

What has happened with the EJ also happened with EU. IMHO best now to await another setup. This may be where we are headed, though....

Concur, I hate trying to jump onto a big move, although I had a setup to get along lost charts and wussed it.

And trying to reverse a big move is pretty much suicidal.

I've got tomorrow clear ish to trade, may I request directionless 40pip range chop please, could do with making some good money SOON, thanks

I went in short again on the spike up (visible on M1 chart), avg around 133.07 short now on EJ...... Regarding EU, I would not be surprised to see this pull up to yesterday's LOW at 1.3227 before turning once again south.......

Chicky, I was wrong----counter trend trading,and hoping for the best, is likely to end an account even sooner than being a chicken sh#t. Order Balls, my a$$, you should be selling them

Too late my friend. I am already in for this move. If come out alive, will consider your advice for any future moves. By the way, I am in only up to 1.3000, if it get below that will be out. Already set aside my possible loss. I like going against big moves like this, especially when they get near to a critical level. I don't know how others have calculated their s/rs, on my daily chart, it is yet to hit the bottom line of a channel, just above 1.3000, lets say 1.3000.

ps. (my resistence is at 1.3085 for this or next couple of hours, then in moves up).
