Haven't seen any Longs here ((except High risk countertrend moves off S1/S2)) since the M2 failure last night a'rd the Fo/Lo session...

My TP for the day currently 5 pips away at 3252 and then Done.

I'd say 1.3226-27. If it breaks there, should go for 1.32. Which would be great, I may add.

i trade this at times but have to give ticker the credit for noticing it... this pair always seems ripe for picking when knucks around... im gonna long ea if it hits 1.8515 sl 1.8300 and may drop it even more..its fib is at 50% jan 2007/low and 2008 high. its also near a strong previous support.. not for the meek spread is usaully big... this thing can be worse then gy...if your interested use smaller position then normal..possible 2000k in pips to gain

added later further the wkly s1 on this pair is 8587... the monthly s2 is 8420ish it could influence sl.. this makes r/r excellent..

taking the loss and getting out here. back to square one. down over 3 grand overall again! took hours and hours of sitting here to get almost to break even. Its so much easier demo trading :o. Plus it doesn't help that Oanda and IBFX have different prices. (I use oanda to trade and ibfx for mt4 demo)

Price has been playing wonderfully within the Channels today (5min).
For the most part, price has trended below the Daily Pivot but has been playing actively between Pivot S/R Level 1.3310 and 1.3227. When price stays between two S/R levels for most of the day, trading doesn't get any better than that.

Price currently heading downwards, within it's channel, back towards Pivot S/R Level 1.3227. Lets see if Price will actually touch that level.

I actually got long too early, but exited with a $17 loss on a bounce. I am doing nothing at the moment except working on the architectural drawings for the house remodel. I am afraid it might really sink hard, now.

With FED shuttling money all over the world through channels outside of the currency markets (announced last night) makes for some illiquid markets and too much mystery for me. Maybe I will try again.

Starting to look like a small retrace on Daily charts for a test to new highs soon.

I think we have recreated the conditions to retest at least 3297.

But please.... trade with your own rules

i think i am going to officially stop coming on forex factory. i let people's opinion's change my method of thinking no matter what I say. I had a feeling it would retest the 90's which would have broken my account even. Instead I'm -3000. Dont' get me wrong I blame myself but when you read other's opinons you start to think you may be wrong. I had a sell on my longs at 1.3590 which was a few thousand profit for me and a short at 1.3592. instead I took a nice loss and watched the market do exactly what I thought it would. I think I may just go back to demo trading. its the newbie jitters that makes me doubt myself and then others opinion added on top can not be a good combo lol

You should always follow the trading rule #1:

RULE #1 Have a plan and stick to it.

Never deviate from your trading plan. No one on FF is looking out for your best interest. FF should be used to "exchange ideas & thoughts" on the market. For most of us, FF is a great place to interact and find solutions to trading problems. Some use FF as a Second Pair of Eyes in how they view the market; sometimes an extra pair of eyes can help you spot out things you didn't see before.

Remeber, stick to your plan. If you are gonna loose money, better loose money on your own will and skills. Not someone elses. Chalk this up as a valuable lesson (you have many more lessons to learn unfortunatly). Now you hold first hand experience as to WHY there are not a lot of profitable traders in fx. You've traded their strategies and thoughts on the market; didn't work out. Its hard and I hate to say it, but most on FF are not profitable traders and will probably never become profitable.

Good luck on all your future trades and we all hope to see you again! Happy Pip'in

FF can be an invaluable source of high quality information and help but the same cannot be said of all, or probably even most of the (active) threads in it. Much of the very Best Stuff is buried in Old Threads... and needs to be dug for. I spent months doing that myself and know a couple others that have as well. There's Priceless Stuff buried here from Days gone by, and I can't stress that enough...

And that's where the problem lies. Until you can sort out The GS (Good Stuff) from The BS (Bad Stuff) , then this can be a Perilous Place. I Step Away myself ((to borrow a term)) when my BS Tolerance meter indicates it's time to do so ((like recently)). I don't need this thread to trade and when the reasons I do come here aren't realistically possible at the time for whatever reason or the Crap Factor is hitting my SL ((like recently))... well it's a No Brainer trade for me.

Fortunately, the helpful threads are easy to find, and provide a reasonably safe and helpful environment to learn what you don't even know that You Don't Even Know yet. In other words, you learn to ask the Right Questions and then learn how to Apply solid answers.

Otherwise you're just reinforcing bad technique or flawed methodology. I'm very confident in saying that as I'm focusing on some things in my own trading that Need To Go Bye Bye. Market conditions change and We better...

I've already PM'd you as well, but will reply to this anyway on the thread as I'm sure you're not in that boat alone.

I absolutely agree with everything you said. However, as a relatively new trader I'll be the first to admit it's almost impossible not to be influenced by what other people said and I have myself entered trades based on that, although I was perfectly aware that I shouldn't.

We all know all the rules and the things we are not supposed to do, yet I suspect most of us do them some time or other. My experience tells me that the only way to really go through the learning process of forex trading is by making mistakes and learning from them.
