I considered a long on the 2nd retest of the 50 ema. Would that have been valid in your mind EO?

On which chart? The 15m? If so, then yes, that would have been a good entry with tight SL on the other side of the ma's

EO, question about entering off 5/10 pullbacks. Do you enter potentially mid-candle when the ema is touched, or do you wait for the candle to close and then enter on the opening of the next one?

Yes, I took a short on the first hangman for 20 pips. It failed to break the 15 min 50 ema. It came back down to it on the next candle and failed to break it again. This is where I considered the long.

These are jumper entries! I hate jumping, but that's what it is. I try and get in near them, but as we know, the ma's follow. When you jump, use the ma's for you SL gauge. Now, if your patient enough, you can wait for the pullback to enter and again, use the ma's for your SL. Key is to not jump long when she just gives you a pin or a hangman. I jumped long at 4755 and SL at 4740.

Would have been a good entry! Problem with the opening of the US Session though, she can fake you out without breaking through the 1st time or so, thus why we keep the SL at 35 over the closed price of the candle that closed through the 15m 35/50. When she broke that price, 4738, my eyes turned to the long side.

Like I said, I hate jumping, but if PA is not proving a turn and we've cleared it, why not take it with your SL controlled by the MA's. I have a hard time jumping, but I'm adjusting.

that's pretty amazing we've gone all the way back up to the 4h 10sma. I had a longg at 4609 which got stopped out, barely. Really annoying day for me so far. I know we have a lot of trading left but a daily turn around like this would be impressive

thanks EO. It's bloody annoying but that's trading and I'll nail it next time. I had another speculative trendline down the 1h there and unfortunately price for a moment flew under before coming back inside and my stop got hit. No position just now

Hey guys,

Remember we were saying all along that 4570-80 would be a solid area... Many things were there... h1/h4 tl, h4 50ema, daily 100sma, weekly 5/10ema, etc.. I got a some good pips from it but should have had more.. I closed it because I was going on the road... I am still on the road at my son's school where it's "sports day". I hope somebody got in down there and rode her up...
