if we wath retail and other data, i think it will be worse number, and it could trigger movement downside. i really doubt that gdp could be better

havent been stopped out but its very close (1.3313). My only trade since the official new fx trading day started. One of my methods of breakout and retest..failed. On that note..it will also be my last trade until us session as the current pa for me is...confusing. Good trade though..must be seeying something im not.

going down, i think because of hourly chart, it broken 1.3360 during night session, so there is a possibility of going down.
of course, i'm wrong all the time and this could be on of those times

I think that 1.3327 is where it will make it's next decision, to carry on down or go in your direction!!

I guess you are long, no worries as it seems to make a double bottom so if lucky you can get into profit depending of where you entered.
Speaking of trading day, I nearly would have done a big mistake today, I have 2 datafeeds and one is structured of OZ trading time and the other on US. So the dailys are different and my system nearly tricked me into a short this morning at 1.3322.
So what we learn never trust the data always have a 2nd feed.

edit: sorry just moved further down guess the double bottom was not good enough

just saw this bear move before passing out. there is euro gdp today?..if so when is it. i usually lose during fundies releases as all technicals get thrown out the window and pa is a mob mentality driven by panic/fear

1.328 seems like a decisive area at the moment.

how far it could go today, 1.3245? 1.3170? 1.3115 probably not?

still short points of interest 3325 3284 56 37 3175 62 43 12 3090 70 56 46 28 2901 6829 2800 84 59 40 24... if we get near there..all areas numbers not exact give or take 5 pips.. keep an gu if it breaks below 4600 thats more momentom for eu to fall.. and the opposite is also true.. if uj falls slightly toward 100.. will hurt ez more the usd in the shortest of terms..it has been this way last few days..same in the opposite holds true for chf..

Seem to have a bit of a battle brewing here around 1.3260-70.

Can't get much below it or above it for the last half hour.

I guess the Bear is taking a rest and the Bull isn't awake either.

Time to watch and wait for the market to tell us where it wants to go.

The USD and JPY recouped spiky during the night selling next to the mains in the New York session in the middle of turn down in the US equity market. The USD improved from a two-month low against the GBP at 1.4956 toward the 1.4720 stage, at the same time as pushing the Euro off its highs near 1.3582 to below the 1.34 handle. By day trading, the Dow Jones is lower by 1.4 percent and the S&P 500 and NASDAQ together downward by in excess of 1.7 percent.
