I say NO, it's a different way of looking at the chart thats all, it has no predictive powers at all, although some people may prefer to read the RSI rather than the chart for there own reasons.

After 1000's of hours of testing, SMA's and BollingerBands are the only indicators that are worth looking at sadly

I'd be looking at simple trend lines and pivot points.

yes always have and always will. i use hieken ashi, 50ema 3ema on 1hour chart i use the 3ema to c when price retrace around that line them go to 1min to place trade mt4 is no. 1 for indis and eas.
ther is no problem for you to use rsi with just 50 mid line some people use it that way with other indis.

1.3536 was the close of Jan 6th daily bar, and is where price went down then.
