DislikedOn LFXJPY daily, we have a harami formation, but I don't think it is valid in its current location.
On the 4H, we have long upper wicks suggesting sellers (buyers because the index is inverse), and the trendlines seem to be holding, thus I would conclude we should be bullish on yen.Ignored

Hussin my friend it might be time to begin a new thread.
In the very first post state the rules regarding posting in the thread and MAYBE the thread can get back to what it once was.
pure candlestick analysis
and the best analysis found anywhere.
It can be a great place to learn without all the clutter of most threads in FF and I AM SURE the regulars in here will also help keep it free and follow to the new thread.
I look at posts that have nothing to do with the threads title disrecpectful at the least and down right rude.

when you have gone short or long a pair and also you use 4H you must , you must ,have look to daily for confirmation 4H
what hussin means is (i think): Its best to trade, if a pair have same pattern on two different timeframes.
Example attached is the 4 h EG with a three inside up pattern, and a daily doji at that moment. (of course daily is not finished, 4 h are left, but if the 4 h pattern is successfull, the doji should be a bullish hammer).
The 4 h inside up is not strong, and I hope it is valid, because open of the
bearish candle is .9157 and close of the last bullish is 9157 too, but hope is with the brave.

It is build of a hanging man followed by a long legged doji on next day. The long legged doji sometimes might be a shooting star.
So this pattern is made of 2 candles, it is more reliable, then a pattern
made from 1 candle.
It is a tricky pattern, because first hanging man appears, and stupid traders like me put SL above hanging man. Then next day doji or shooting star appears and SL is hit
So it is best, to put you sell order below the hanging man.
We must have a name for this pattern.

I like to introduce a new candlestick pattern, which I have observed in the last years, which has fooled me very much.

funny i observed this pattern on M5, M15, H1 too, and if they have both very long wicks and they happen after an upthrust inside the strong candle after retrace i take the trade on them, i call them a double hammer fake or two inverted hammer, because the first indicates for instance a canceled downmove, but the second also failed in the other direction, so i observed more often it then trades in the directin of the first "hammer", which isnt a hammer really.
but also i observed it tries to test the second hammer high. if it cant reach it that is where i go short and the break through the first hammer low is confirmation for the trade im already in.
here is a picture i mailed one time to my trading partner. this was really a good one, they dont happen too often that way. it was on 12th feb on M5
and tmac, you are right this isnt the thread it was supposed to be, im also to blame for posting other things not related directly to daily candle, so heres my suggestion: hussin opens another thread where he allowes only 10+ vouches to post, and second a "discussion" thread, where there can be noise.

i think once a thread " AGES " new people dont look at the FIRST POST,and hence dont realize the CONTENT of the thread.....but we should not lose this particular thread,Hussin and others as well as yourself have worked hard in giving CS analysis.......people have got confused,thinking that Hussin is calling Trades...

Hi all, been real busy with work this week
The USDLFX looks very bearish. The last weekly up trend line is under pressure.
It would be nice to get a up move first as the weekly spells down.
Also a engulfing outside candle on the monthly too.
Today’s Daily Candle=Koma =unsure which direction to move in

Ok the shooting star did cause a pull back but the power was weak ,it really looked that way,and we bounced right off the rising Tl and 23.6 %F.
Straight up to target,nothing goes in a straight line I suppose...
This has been a real nice trend.
