I'm now averaged down to 3230 w/ a regular-sized position, and took some $ when closing part of the position. Could move SL to profitable range but I want to let it play out a bit longer. As my position is not over-sized I have some room if price moves against me.

can I ask why you are trading right now? there is little liquidity in the market and no clear direction short term.

please show on any chart the reason to be in a trade right now.

Added more longs @ 3243. New average, 3234. SL's moved to 3243.

Aussie holding up...EURAUD short great way to short EURO IMO - get the Dollar (phony money) out of the equation.

I know you look the fundamentals too, every fiat is phony so nothing has changed or the small temporary disequilibrium will eventually evolve into global QE which will include euro too, and sooner that you might think, the commodity-currencies boom you are expecting have to wait for some time.
Tell me if i am wrong.

On thr other hand, if the retrace is failing, and it looks like the north move is resuming, then it's a great place to long. you'll get it figured out if you know what to watch.

your right that was rubish i can do better then that i was tinkin possibe break out when placin th trade on 1m chart ill wait for new signal on one minute in futuer. i read the first treads you atatched a few days ago and i still reading todays Tkx i just descovered somthing on 1h draw a trend line through th bars im mean like i use heikenashi, from middle 1st red ashi draw trend line thro middle th reds to th last and wait for price to go back up around the line then sell. i enabled pm also Thx

doesnt look like it at the moment. the uptrend we were in for the past 20 hours or so has been broken to the downside and now we are just retesting the breakout wall (possible bear flag/pennant formation).

if we re enter the trend up and break 1.3285 as well...you might have a shot to make that money back. If we break 1.3225 to the downside...id close that trade if i was you.

My question to you is...do you use stop loss?...especially when sleeping...

Why not close part of the position now, set a tighter SL, and average back in if we move lower? Cut your losses basically.

Hidden Bearish Divergence, 20 and 30 EMA (15M TF) turning down and Fractals pointing downward.

Look a attachement if interested. I shorted at 1.3281. Out with 20 pips profit. Could of held it longer but I have learned to not be greedy with this system.

I'm on a 10 pip / day quest testing a new strategy. High leverage / Low risk (If that exists in this game).

After 2 months of testing I'm missing 10 trades to be on track.

Balance should be 12K but I'm only at 6+K. It's amazing how 10 pips a day can be a chalange when highly leverage.

Edit: I should add the start balance $1,015.00

anyone realized that when nasdaq rallies more than dow dollar appears to maintain strength and doesn't loose to Euro so quickly

America needs to move to renewable technology like it or not Middle East and others, that will lead to stronger dollar due to deflation.

Today was fantastic day 4 E/U Currency traiding especially by candle method.
in 1st day part got -30 pips by darn fundamental analysis .
but in second , by candelstick i earned +60 pips in short inevstments speculations
keep in touch
last trade -> B 1,3139 +35 gona keep it for couple days i think

out of curiousity....why such a large stop loss. i mean lets think about this logically....the average daily range from high to low for the eur/usd is 200pips if we are lucky (with the exception of news filled days). So even if you had a decent win/loss ratio and picked the best entry points....it would be a long time before profits are decent on this particular pair as only one loss sets you back big time. Not only that but you might have around 5 trades a week..if that.

Sidenote: the few traders that I know do something similar to this have at least 2:1 take profit ratio meaning they are willing to wait a long time for a position to complete....and most of them have alot of equity in their account which means they can "afford" to wait
