so we finally returned to the same exact price level that pa was at right before feds said they would buy treasuries. it only took a week and a half. now that we have reached this point...i woke up too early as trichet is talking still!...so hard to be flat yet always got to remember...trichet..like bernanke...like geithner..like some chinese speculator can talk this pair to a 500pip rally...sidelines psiholog..sidelines...wheres that cofee of mine..

oh you guys are trading..my apologies..ignore this post...or should you?

We also returned to the upward channel that had been established prior to that event. Currently bouncing off the bottom of that channel.

trichet spoke.. trichet finished and it is still flat. and within range as it was for the last 10 hours. The currency EUR/USD has not moved. Is the market not moving on Trichet's speech?

he talked already?...is the FF clock not up to date then? I know Obama is about to talk about the auto bailout plan soon. Probably why market is still "quiet"...thanks for that observation.

More like the auto "take over" plan. We're in deep &%@#!! Should have allowed bankruptcy years ago. "bail out' was just a scheme to gain control. And now they want Fiat to buy Chrysler?? We're in deep @#%&!!

The American tax payer just lost 70 billion with GM....Ummm....Thank you?

Now that you mention it; it looks like the FF clock is NOT up to date. Also, I think Obama's statements will probably move things more than Tricky did today. Wall Street is not particularly appreciating the heavy hand being dealt to the auto makers at the moment by the gov. Strange times my friends, strange times.

interesting speech for those who watched it.

long story short....he wants the auto industry to survive regardless of what happened in the past...too vital to economy. It appears to me this speech should be viewed as positive for the economy which implies at least some temporary equities rally and dollar weakness. However...I am not a market maker and cant push the markets so ..sidelines still

My first impression was the same psiholog; I watched it myself. but looking at current DOW activity, they would seem to disagree with us (or are disinterested). They only seem to like it when Government money heads their way and no where else without any strings attached.

this G-20 before us is the "elephant in the room." As JW likes to say: "hang on to your f*kin' hat."
