The past 3 months I've come out ahead so I only hope there isn't "too" much difference between demo and live...Ignored
Dislikednot much difference, kinda like the difference between Pluto and the Sun.Ignored
DislikedAhhhhh but when you lose on a Demo, it's not real you where obviously just messing around at the time, just click on the open new demo account button, flip a couple of random trades and retire to demo world.
I pretty much can't fail on Demo account, or above maybe dunno hard to be objective about this kind thingIgnored
DislikedI hear what you're saying but this is how serious I take the demo.
Self employed contractor for 35 years. Back collapsed in November 07 and haven't worked since. Now in a wheelchair. This is the ONLY thing I can see to make a living.
Breaking two MAJOR rules of engagement. First, the money I have to start a live account is all I have left. Second, I MUST average $500 a day to live and slowly add to the account.
Believe me, I'm taking this demo learning VERY seriously...LOL When I loose, it HURTS BIG TIME...LOLIgnored
DislikedHey altrader, is it too soon to say or does it look like a rebounce in the north direction is possible ?Ignored

DislikedI have a really great reputation building high end custom homes and doing top notch custom woodwork. If my Freaking back would let me, I'd still be working even in this economy. To this day I get calls to do work.
I understand and agree with what you say but I'm kind of against a wall here. The Forex is tricky even in good times but now...whew...it's nuts. Hell, if all the talk about the dollar failing comes to pass, there might not even be a Forex anymore.
I thought about taking only half of what I have to start an account but if the dollar...Ignored
DislikedI thought about taking only half of what I have to start an account but if the dollar keeps getting weaker, saving the other half will cost me as well...no?Ignored

Dislikedinsider tip buy gold and silver with the other half there is going to be massive inflation and the dollor wont be worth shit but gold and silver will appreciate big time and just cuz u cant do the work u can hire people to do it and u just superviseIgnored
DislikedYep, been thinking that way myself on the gold and silver. I can't afford much of it but I'm pretty sure it will still be worth more than the paper that buys it.
On the work, not to sound "too" arrogant but, it's MY hands that do the level of work my contractors have come to expect and well, GOOD help is hard to find. Plus, being in a wheelchair makes supervising rather difficult since I don't have, and can't afford one of those fancy cripple cars to get around in...LOLIgnored
DislikedBummer on the back dude, running outta work here so 3 - 4 months to get Forex paying my way, on the bright side for me $500 per week would do nicely $500 per day sounds like hard work.
All in, although I'm all in it's only $300 area so no biggy, could add $100 I guess so ECCCKKSSS!!!Ignored
Disliked$500 a week? Brother I envy you. Pretty hefty mortgage payment (no, not one of those STUPID ones so many took) My house is still worth more than the loan. 2 kids in collage now and one wanting to go next year. Yep, sweating here..LOLIgnored
