Does nobody else think EURUSD could to continue moving down in the long term? I could see a bearish breakout at the end of this triangle.

I agree with suntrader about RW leaving, they probably all should either sooner or later, and w/o exception. No argument there.

The part I am profoundly troubled by is what you said and I bolded. I thought that's what Boards and stockholders were for, but what do i know.

That part has yet to play out and as weird as the Opening Quarter of this "administration" has been, I don't think for a minute this has not already been anticipated and allowed for. No different than with Geitners Gaffe (on the reserve currency issue)

We're witnessing Something here, it's just not clear exactly what It is yet, or what the total Time Frame is for It. But again, I think we'll have a better idea soon enough... I'm just not sure I really want to know.

posted that march 19...

we are not too far off that 1.3100 level. currently i am flat. what happens there is beyond me....i honestly have no clue whats next. now in a bearish trend...every support broken becomes resistance. the exact opposite of what the bull run did off 1.2500. every resistance broken became support. HOWEVER....its too early to assume we are in a bear trend. Only one thing is clear...that 1.3100 level which was where the eur/usd took off when the feds said they would buy treasuries is within reach.

as far as technicals go...that level should also act as strong support as it is the lower wall of the bigger downtrend. We can bounce there hard OR break that level hard. Now im still a bear...but see no entries at this time. I just might place a buy if the smaller downtrend gets broken to the upside..to be seen. good pippin all.

Morning all,

imo the next support level is 3160-3170 and if it goes through then it will continue south till S2 pivot at least. Not sure about 3100, but if it breaks 3160 level then bears are quite strong, 3100 shouldnt be a big problem.

anyone have a link to what Trichet will talk about exactly? I know the FF site says "economic and monetary affairs" but that is such a broad topic...he could say anything. So yeah...a link to an "official" website would be much appreciated.

Too risky to trade at the moment for me. I like to see some more horizontal consolidation. And then a breakout of that consolidation creating a higher high or lower low before I get into a trade.

Also a big problem is that we are so close to the S1 pivot point.
